@Blue Jackets de Columbus

Les Devils du New Jersey sont prêts à échanger leur 10e choix au total cette année. Y a-t-il un package que nous pourrions mettre en place pour obtenir ce choix ?

    They’re looking for a goalie so I don’t think they’re interested in talking to us

    I mean, which top prospect (and I do mean top) or very good roster player are you willing to give up for it?

    They ain’t taking Elvis, and I assume they ain’t trading 10 OA for Tarasov or Jet.

    Werenski? No. Jiricek? No. Mateychuk? No. That’s the defense.

    Forwards: Johnny? They don’t need him. Laine (pretending it’s possible)? No. Any of the Russians? No. Fantilli? That’s a no from us.

    That really only leaves two names: Boone and KJ, and they don’t need KJ, and Boone ain’t worth 10 OA for them (or anyone).

    So no, I don’t think we have what they’d want, not a good fit.

    Not sure this is the year to give up a lot to pick up a top 10 pick. Draft is super average this year; it’s not 2023.

    It’s not a deep draft and they don’t want Elvis. Not worth anything else.

    why? We have a ton of prospects, we don’t need to give up assets for more prospects at this point

    Probably only makes sense to a team that’s wanting to move up in the draft (or one of the teams that doesn’t have a 1st round pick), and even then you’d have to have a pretty low pick, AND a goalie that you both can’t keep and that New Jersey thinks can help right away, to make trading for 10th worth it.

    The last thing Columbus needs is more prospects at this point.
