1. Resign: Duchene, Tanev, Lundquist. Send Suter to AHL — let Daddy go perhaps and Smith go although Smith plays really hard…let Faksa go perhaps…

  2. More size, grit and speed. Thats what the team needs in my opinion. A new special teams coach as well. The stars are a playoff team for sure but the league is stacked and its gunna be tough. This off-season is going to be an interesting one. The team is very good though thats for sure. As i keep saying, they are close.
Florida would have kicked our butts in my opinion.

  3. POVERTY FRANCHISETHE PERRENIAL PLAYOFF EXITERS. THIS CITY WILL ALWAYS BE A DALLAS COWBOYS CITY A TEAM WITH REAL HERRATIGE OF WINNERS A DNA OF CHAMPIONS, A LINE OF GLORY DINASTIES AND WINNING JUST AS BIG AS REAL MADRID AND BARCELONA COWBOYS A REAL GLOBAL MARKET AND THE STARS HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME THAT THIS YEAR AND THE NHL RIGGED IT IN FAVOR OF TINY CLUBS THAT BRING NO RATINGS EVEN THE UFC AND WNBA WERE SMARTER AND EVEN THOU THEY ARE YOUNGER THEY ALREADY PAST THE NHL IN POPULARITY AND GLOBAL RECOGNITION. THE FINALS SHOULD OF BEEN DALLAS VS NEW YORK

  4. Unpopular opinion, but we should let Tanev walk. He was a good deadline pick-up for a playoff run but he’ll be 35 next year and has a ton of miles on him. He’ll probably be in demand and be looking for 4+ year contract at a high AAV. Last 35 year old shutdown D we signed was Ryan Sutter. How’s that working out? Last thing we need is another aging veteran on a multi year contract

  5. I believe that Suter, Seguin, Marchment and Duchesne are at the top of the list of those who need to be moved or let go. Benn could be retained one more year but he's right behind those four. It's time to build around their core and the youth. Johnston, Hintz, Robertson, Hiskenen, Stankoven, Bourque, Otter, Harley, Tanev and Lindell. This team needs a makeover for sure.

    Here’s what I would do
    LETS GO STARS ⭐️

  7. Forwards we need/must keep:
Jason Robertson, Wyatt Johnston, Logan Stankoven, Mavrik Bourque, Tyler Seguin, & Jamie Benn.

Forwards would love to keep but are valuable trade pieces:
Ty Dellandrea & Roope Hintz. (Hintz is here because while great, he keeps getting injured during or right before playoffs)

Must get rid of one of these:
Matt Duchene, Mason Marchment, & Evgenii Dadonov.

Must get rid of two of these:
Sam Steel, Craig Smith, & Radek Faksa.

Ultimately, we need to make the cap space to sign a top 3 forward that can be the difference maker in a game. Someone who, when they need to, will take the puck and produce for the team. I will accept losing some depth in order to get that 30-40 goal scorer who puts 80-100 points a season. I know that may not be realistic, but a perfect world you know 😅.

Maybe Mitch Marner??? Or Steven Stamkos to replace Pavelski.

  8. There is a reason why we won the Stanley cup in 1999 because we have big defensive men like Ludwig and Hatcher.

  9. I think peoole get a little silly with the size thing. Remember last year when we played Minny and they were asking our players about the size? We crushed them. Vegas has size? Howd they do this season? Colorado was Bigger and theyre gone. Edmonton is bigger and in their most important game against the stars they got 10 shots and got dominated the entire game. Our fourth line was effective all season because they played with energy and defensive ability which leads to offense. We dont need "size" we need guys who will forecheck hard and turn puck overs

  10. Harley should get a bridge deal. We already have two long term contracts beyond Benn/Seguin in Hintz and Robertson. You also have to decide o n Jake next year, so the next two years are pretty tricky in Stars land. Not sure you can get both Steel and Delly, and i'd keep Smith over Delly for the short term. Nils is out. He can't go to the AHL for some reason contractually, and he isn't ready for prime time. PDB doesn't trust him for whatever reason. But what about Hakanpaa? He may come back rested and better than ever….

  11. Keep Tanev…Hockenpa is a pussy…sutter thanks but gotta go. Harley is a bad ass and needs to stay as well!

  12. We need some beef. Love our current roster but the stars are to much of a finesse team. We need a little more physically. A player like a Josh Anderson. A player who can put up 15-20 goals. Stand up for his team mates. Benn is the only player that we have. We need another Defenseman who can move people away from Otter. Trade Faksa

  13. Have the cowboys taught you nothing joey? Sign long early… they become cheap as the cap rises

  14. Dallas D takes a ton of punishment from opponent’s forecheck and our forwards dish out zero. It makes for lots of easy zone exits.

  15. Re sign Duchene. Seguin needs a puck handler like Radulov was. That’s what makes Seguin effective, someone to keep the puck and get it to him. No to Dellandrea and Smith. I would try to move Faksa as well. He is slow and really brings nothing these days. I would try to sign Tanev to a 2 yr extension. That doesn’t break the bank. I have a feeling he will move on though.

  16. Spot on with all of those. Harley and and Tanev are the obvious priorities. I personally would love for Duchene to stick around but I just don’t think we will get a deal that is team friendly enough to be worth it. Especially with the young guys coming up showing they are very capable of filling in that hole in the lineup. As far as the depth guys go, I wouldn’t mind seeing them stay but that will largely depend on what type of deal they are willing to sign and who else is available. Depth is usually available in free agency if need be and I see us likely trying to add some size this off season so someone will have to be the odd man out. Glad to see you are turning the corner on the fact we need a heavier game for the playoffs. It has really limited our postseason game the past few years. We have plenty of skill players but nobody to forcibly take away ice from the other team. Without a little size to your game the opposition can almost freely dictate play style. When it comes to this year’s draft I will be slightly disappointed if they don’t take 3 right shot defensemen. Preferably 3 big right shot defensemen. You are really just hoping one of them pans out. As for content now that it’s the offseason I wouldn’t mind the guy from locked on oilers coming back on to talk about how the finals is going or went. Always appreciate a breakdown from someone who more readily knows the team.
