  1. When your a Ranger fan you get used to it, more disappointment than triumph. If your a Ranger fan it's ok, it's part of the culture of our hockey club. Not that losing is exceptable or noble as exhibited in the past in fan bases such as the Chicago Cubs nothwithstanding 2016 when Joe Maddon slaughtered William Sianis goat, but the outcome. I'm more annoyed this season than May 9, 1992, when Ron Francis slipped one through Richter from the Monongahela River in Game 4 during a season that we should have won the Cup and eventually led to "Iron" Mike's arrival at the Garden but that's a different story. Here's the positive. Chris Drury has an entire offseason to sit down with Peter Laviolette and figure out how to tweek this club to get us to the next level. True, in the cap era this is easier said than done but not impossible. We look forward to you guys take on the upcoming Stanley Cup Final and a pivotal offseason for the Blueshirts. Thanks for the coverage in what ammounted to another disappointment.

  2. Fyi, for all who want half the team gone along w, Panarin. Panarin, is leading all Playoff Players with Game Winning Goals (4 GWG's). I'm also disappointed with him n others but I don't n probably won't see other teams sell away their stars either.

  3. Mark is spot on. This season is NOT a complete failure. Gun to my head I would've picked Florida. THEYRE THE BETTER TEAM. And people killing panarin. Kill him for being small and lacking toughness fine. But everyone's acting like the guys isn't trying or has no heart. You can try all you want and sometime the opposition just shuts you down. Imo if we found a way to get past them we win the cup. If they confirm that by beating Edmonton we could say we were probably the SECOND BEST team in the league. You don't have to dump everyone off. Retool the Defense. Find a way to get a couple more trocheck type players and that may be enough. We didn't get swept. Take zibanejad and kakko out of the lineup and replace with another trocheck/laf. Your telling me that it couldn't have been a difference in this series? People need to calm down. Look at the final four. All have faced disappointment before triumph. Florida lost last year. Vegas lost before they won. Dallas lost a final already. Edmonton finally got over the WCF hump. Need to improve just a little bit more.

  4. It can be a failure and a success at the same time imo. Regular season, big success, playoffs, kind of a failure.

  5. NYR need guys who have won. Period. That’s what they were missing. Marchessault is a 42 goal scorer and Conn Smyth winner. I’d take him in a second for 6 million

  6. They’re basically performers. We pay their salaries to perform and entertain us. They’ve done that for a decade. Some fan bases would kill for the success we’ve had consistently. I’m hoping to live another 40 years. We can win at least one more cup in that time frame, right? Right?

  7. It’s nice to see and hear Marc all fired up. People can cry all they want. Rangers had a great season. Kreider is the only one movable. If your gonna move him you better bring back Brady Tkachuck but I don’t think Ottawa does that again with the Rangers

  8. Been saying kakko needs to go for a year already. Idk if people remember but the defining moment this postseason. Against carolina He circled the net like 3 times. Dangled everyone kept possession. I was like ok nice…and boom doesnt even get a shot on net before losing possession. Shows a spurt here or there. Zero toughness, doesnt use his size, and has ZERO finishing ability. The experiment is over.

  9. I heard that these soft 🙀 were on the beach with there girlfriends hanging out on the beach and playing football on the beach before game 6 these guys have no heart they need a savage coach and this entire team needs to be retooled “spitting chicklets”

  10. Anthony. Now that you put it in those words, Artemi Panarin is exactly that, which is, a player that can get you through The Regular Season, but, needs to be supplemented thereafter, since, you don't get there with no Regular Season Panarin. Let me know what you think

  11. CAR pundit here…yes, we would have loved to beat NYR, we didn't get it done. Trocheck has been great in NY, happy for him, not arguing to have him back. I wouldn't be shocked to see Panarin back in CHI. He wants the big market, Hawks are talking about needing to make a splash, would take some pressure off Bedard.

  12. Marc. No more trades with The Winnipeg Jets, after The Jacob Trouba thing. I do agree that it isn't A Pretty Thing & Moves Have Got to be made. Let me know what you think

  13. Somehow, I think The Jacob Trouba Trade messed up both players that were doing well on their respective teams. I really thought that Neal Pionk was in a good situation with us, as he (Jacob Trouba) was with The Winnipeg Jets. Let me know what you think

  14. Justme77. That's the whole problem with The Rangers. No way that they should get Pavel Buchnievich now, after some of his best seasons were in St. Louis, with The Blues (it'll likely be Jacob Trouba all over again – be too expensive). Let me know what you think

  15. Exactly, James Marshall. It's exactly what I have been, all of this time, saying, that Jacob Trouba & Kakko Kappo should be packaged.

  16. I still think that we're feeling John Davidson/Jeff Gorton speeding up the Rebuild too fast & that's aside from The Jacob Trouba situation. But, it's that Jacob Trouba Trade that began to mess everything up. They might have overpaid for Artemi Panarin, given that he disappears after A Regular Season is over. Let me know what you think

  17. FOR EXAMPLE, THE RANGERS BOUNCED MIKE GARTNER IN 1994, BECAUSE HE WAS A PANARIN TYPE PLAYER… TROUBA 11 MINORS? TRADE HIM… LINDGREN TOO SMALL, AND HAS ZERO OFFENSIVE UPSIDE…

  18. One of the biggest problems, is, The Rangers fail to use The Regular Season to learn their weaknesses, which is what A Team Wants To Do. Let me know what you think

  19. Making the ECF 2 of 3 seasons is success. A qualified success, because we want to win the Cup, but it's NOT failure. Yes, we all want a Cup, no doubt. But calling this a catastrophe and wanting to rebuild is idiotic. They're close – they need to get over the hump.

  20. Let's stop being emotional and retributive about it. Panarin and Mika were ineffective in the ECF, yes, but they've been effective in the playoffs in other playoff series at other times in their careers. Concluding that "they're not playoff guys" is oversimplification and just wrong. The question is why they were ineffective and what the organization can do about it, because neither one is getting moved.

  21. Move these guys for whoooo? yall are tripping! You can't just replace Chris Keieder or Panarin so easliy. These guys brought it all season long. good luck with that. how quickly you all forget game 6 in carolina. The amazing reg season.
