[Sabre Report] Henri Jokiharju est présenté comme l’un des trois RFA qui pourraient ne pas recevoir d’offre éligible. Seravalli se demande s’il deviendra une cible commerciale pour un choix de fin de ronde.

Jokiharju is a young right shot defenseman which GMs are always after. If he is only worth a late round pick it goes to show how poorly he is viewed around the league.

His QO is 2.6 dunno why you wouldn’t keep him for that if he signs it

I’m gonna go ahead and call BS on that. He’s a young RHD, and his QO is cheap. There’s no reason for him not to get one.

He was more valuable than Alex Nylander who we traded him for, if we qualify him and another team offer sheets him, no big deal
Drizzy_Drew
The Sabres have over $23 million in cap space this offseason, 10th most in the NHL. Right now the only right shot defenseman on the roster is Clifton and they don’t exactly have a surplus of NHL-ready defenseman in the organization.
The Sabres aren’t in a position to let any NHL-level players under contract walk away for nothing and in a “make or break” year for the front office even a late round pick doesn’t help. Dont get cute, just retain your guys.

I’d resign him
