You're worrying about the wrong things……just think about when those "We beat Toronto " rings arrive …..and when Logan Stanley gets to wear his heavyweight belt around?……gonna be awesome dude…….Also I'll bet Maurice's bench movements when the camera is on him have been top notch…..have faith.
As fans we look and see the talent on the Jets . Why aren`t we wining? When we look at the Jets System the answer is apparent. Paul M has to go.
PoMo is clearly out of ideas. How many line combos can you do? How many losses can fans and ownership tolerate? This is a team that spent to the cap; they clearly believe they are contenders. Change is needed now!
Canucks clean house and haven’t lost a game since. Does changing coaching staff work? YES!
I feel like the jets are missing this 1-2 pieces that could make them take the next ste towards cup contention

I’ve said for a year or two now that the jets were doing well (making the playoffs) in spite of themselves. This is the best roster (on paper) this team has ever had and that doesn’t even include perfetti or villie, the talent is being wasted with Maurice at the helm. I understand that he is probably loved by the players, but if they want to win they aren’t doing it with pomo. Maurice should have been fired after the series with Montreal, he was out coached every step of the way. They’re probably better off in the long term not making the playoffs this year as that’s the only way i see the coaching staff being altered. Imagine this roster with a strong defensive game, with its offensive upside. Conner has 50 goal potential, Ehlers, Dubois, and Scheifele are 40 goal scorers, with scheifele being an extremely consistent ppg player with the other two having that potential. Wheeler, who’s best offensive days are behind him but he’s still good for around 65 points and good depth guys like copp, stasney and svech who all have 25-30 goal potential imo. Then there’s Hellebuyck, a top three goalie in the league, and on a better team would have a cup or two by now. It’s disappointing and I’m not even a big jets fan. Great video like always coach!

Your videos just keep getting better and better. Nice work! I'd like to see the Jets and Oilers both turn things around. I'm also concerned about Arizona. I don't like when small market teams struggle for extended stretches.
"sit on your laurels…" What laurels? The Jets haven't ever won anything — 0 Stanley cups, 0 Conference Championships, 0 President's trophies. I do see that they won three Avco World Championships in the 70's. That trophy has only ever been won seven times, so is that a laurel? Without using Google what does that trophy look like? 🙂
Also, from a mathematics perspective, I always cringe at the assumption that odds are related to a single outcome. If the weatherman predicts a 90% chance of rain they are not wrong when it doesn't rain — they aren't making a prediction about a single event but are saying that those conditions will create rain 9 times out of ten. We can look at hockey odds the same way.
I honestly can't fathom what management is thinking, Chevy has made what most consider to be good acquisitions to improve the team. They draft well imo, but the coaching is mediocre at best. POMO simply put lacks creativity and flexibility to adapt, it's why all his teams end up exactly where we are at right now. This team is golfing if he stays employed for much longer.
Sometimes you are just exactly what your record says you are. Sadly for the Jets thats a team that fights to be over .500
This present Jets team is really good , tons of talent. But as you point out ,there’s something missing. Vision? Some accountancy must be had here. Probably the coach.
Good stuff bud. End of the day for me when you have a clearly all in team financially and expectations should probably be the highest they ever have been for this version of the jets and depressing is the fan experience, you need to change something, anything… Every year at some point Paul's head is called for by the media and fair-weather fans at some point but, I feel like now more than ever this team needs something at the back end to change as our roster and cap crunch definitely do not allow for a mid season remix on the player roster.

I'm startin to get concerned about the lack of 60 min efforts against struggling teams, it seems if you wanna end a long losing streak you wanna play the Jets cause they look at the standings and mail it in so jump on em early they'll fold like a cheap suit!!

Playing as a team , wait till next game ,, that Blues team is definitely plays as a team right now just seen they have had 25 different players score, have used 5 goalies , and a third of players right now stared in AHL , somehow they found away to survive ,,, How is it the system ,,, and players buying into it or something else ,
You need to do a video comparing PoMo's track record with Carolina compared to Jets. Not sure if you caught that Hockey Writers article and the striking similiarities to the issues we face today.
There are actually Jets fans who have their heads so far up their (you know) where they are defending Maurice and coping with our losses to the worst teams in the NHL. Got dominated by the wild (they're not bad but they do not have a team as good as ours on PAPER), lost to canucks x2, shutout by islanders, shutout by coyotes. As long as the circle jerk exists in TNSE, this team will never reach the potential that the paper shows.
