C’était censé être la « grande » annonce selon laquelle les Jets de Winnipeg resteraient à Winnipeg à long terme OU déménageraient. Cela a fini par être une période de questions et réponses avec Barry Shenkarow alors qu’il tentait d’expliquer son rôle et celui de son partenaire dans la tentative de décrocher une nouvelle arène et de sauver la franchise des Jets de Winnipeg. Cela fait 12 longues années sans les Jets et tout comme l’ordinateur montré à la fin de cette vidéo, les temps ont tout changé et les aspects économiques du soutien d’une franchise professionnelle de la LNH à Winnipeg sont positifs ! Une nouvelle arène, une nouvelle ABC, de jeunes fans enragés de hockey de la classe ouvrière, un soutien éprouvé et un amour général pour le jeu seront plus que suffisants pour soutenir les Jets de Winnipeg à leur retour ! Ramenez-les

I would like Winnipeg to have an NHL team back once more
Gary Bettmen is a smart man. He is a man of numbers. He let the jets move and quebec move because of the cities they moved to had more ppl and needed less % of those ppl to make it work. What he didnt realize is that he still needed a % of ppl in a place where hockey is unheard of. Thats the problem with Bettman he didnt do his homework. The states support winners only and if your team dosent make the playoffs or win any championships then they dont come to your games. Look at the Avs
In fact Shenkarow has recently said that the
NHL franchise would be sustainable in Winnipeg but it wouldn't be a big profit maker. So Shenkarow supports the idea but I don't support the idea of Shenkarow being the front man. I'll tell you how. We do it ourselves & we make Ken Morissette the front man. He has a group on facebook called:
"WINNIPEG JETS FAN CHALLENGE… Lets help to get them back!"
10 000 members. His idea – get 100 000 members $500 each, buy majority shares
bring them back.
