It was purely a one sided Goaltending spectacle, with the exception of Darnell Nurse going full retard on the second goal. Florida was outplayed significantly.

Oilers need to trade Nurse, his mistakes stick out like a sore thumb. Hopefully at 50% retention some teams might have interest in him but that’s still about 5 mil for someone constantly messing up. If any oilers defencemen is worth 9.5 mil it’s Bouchard so I would try to trade Nurse before Bouchard needs that contract at the end of next year
skinner did not have a bad game even. I felt nurse + ceci let him down that pair needs to be separated if edmonton wants to win.

See florida can change up their gameplay a bit by clogging netrual zone on their attack and stop trying to force them to make a pass or to the boards(just in o and d zone… but n zone they cant be so puck hungry becayse they will get socred on… they had over 3 breakaways.)
Now Edm cannot change weak defsemen not giving an effort or willing to scarafice the body.
This is why florida is going to win because they are willing to play for wach other and its not an x and o game for them like edm. Thwy play h9ckey the right way and cooties to FLA orgnzarition to commit to bobs.

I think it would be cool if Edmonton won the cup….but cmon……..a Canadian team winning the Stanley Cup in 2024….not gonna happen. They’re just having an unusually good season and next year it’ll be back to normal and they’ll either be fighting for a playoff spot or out in the first round….a good year like this for a Canadian team is like an eclipse.

skinner sucks…hes just not a good goalie..it must be deflating on a team when your goalie cant stop a beahball i mean Florida didnt even have 20 shots and they scored 3 goals , not to mention 2 in their first 4 shots..the guys brutal..Edmonton is lucky to just be there.. McDAvid and Draistaitl are their only real hope..this is the best edmonton team for quite soem time but Skinner is just brutal.also not to mention Drake put 500k on the Oilers so the jinx is on..too bad for Edmonton but the Drake Curse live son

The Panthers are a real good team, but they interfere all over the ice. Almost none of it was called in the Ranger series. I think there was one interference call last night but needs to be called more. You can't knock someone down that doesn't have the puck or obstruct them from getting to the puck – against the rules
This Panthers team reminds me of the LA Kings cup-winning teams from a decade ago. Big, physical, and with unbelievable goaltending play.
