Yurov signed a 1-year KHL extension reportedly in the $400K-$450K ballpark. Technically, he could still play for the Wild towards the end of the 2024 season, depending on how his KHL team does, and IF Guerin can get him to sign his ELC. Im not holding my breath on either happening.

My back story I played hockey into High School, refereed probably 200 games in St. Croix Valley. I had written off the NHL for many years because of the Northstars HIGHJACKING by Dallas! I never thought I would be back. I ended up suffering boredom due to getting disabled and have actually started watching Wild Hockey to where now 2 years later, actually getting emotionally involved then becoming Captain Nickname! Good to get the story behind the man who is not a myth!😉
Unfortunately, BG did not treat this like a business. And he built a GOOD OLD BOY COUNTRY CLUB and that is what we had last year, no leadership, Zero Accountability. Next year we're stuck carrying thst for 3 more seasons because of bad extensions!! BG probably got let down on a contract or had some player close to him get hosed by a team so he vowed he'd never do that as a GM. Now that is what we have. Stuck with Carcus, Stuck with busted Spurge, stuck with broken and unproductive Foligno and then there's Freddy Evason…
