I honestly don't know much about this guy , I'd rather have marsechault if I'm choosing mustard knights.
I've been a Rangers fan since I was 8 years old but I honestly need at least one season break after this. This was the most capable team that they have had since 94 and they still found a way to blow it. Every year they have enough talent on the roster to take it all. Every year the top players turn into ghosts except for the goalie. I am so over this team right now it's not even funny. At this point I feel like it wouldn't matter if we had a team full of McDavid clones on offense and Makar clones on defense for every line. They would still magically find a way to not show up in the playoffs. There is absolutely something going on with this team far beyond the talent and I wish I knew what it was. I wish I knew why the only person capable of stepping up every single game in the postseason is the goalie. I would absolutely not blame Igor one bit for seeking a trade when his contract is up. I don't want to see him going entire career without his name on the Stanley Cup like Hank did. I really don't care who the Rangers make moves for either. They had it all this past season and still blew it. After this last one I feel like when Sam Rosen said in '94 "This one will last a lifetime" he may have been talking about the lifetime of the franchise unfortunately. They really might be the most disappointing team in all of sport.

(Othmann #1) honestly after watching 20 seasons straight faithfully I don’t know how you can have the mental capacity to talk about possible contracts! I rather the rangers shy away from anyone new and just focus on our young talent, every major sport is getting younger and a youth mind is honestly more capable of the “new nhl” I rather watch a competitive young team then be disappointed with a “capable” nhl cup team lol
I don’t see Chandler Stephenson signing with a team to be a 3C.
He can play LW, but he’s more of a C. The only way this works is if Chris Kreider is moved, which doesn’t seem like a bad idea at this point, being that he’s going to be 34 and isn’t a good 5v5 player anymore.
Stephenson is a good skater and forechecker though, which the Rangers need both of.

Rangers have no cap space. As seen in the ECF, they need heavier hitters. Panthers threw less checks but it felt like they were manhandling us. When they hit you, they hit you and finished their checks. Soft hits getting recorded as hits made it look like NYR was more physical but they weren’t. Need guys who win pucks on the wall.
Bring Buchnevich back.
They should look to trade Chytil long term let him play and start the season next year to get his value back up then trade him Chytil never gonna be a top 6 guy and he’s not built to be a 3rd liner on this team

Chandler Stephenson is a big center and can hit, he's 6'1" 205 and he won 2 Stanley cups with Vegas so if they can sign him do it, he also can shoot the puck and score, 50 pts a yr or more is not bad at all 10 goals 10 assets for 20 pts in the playoffs is not bad at all.
I like chandler, but we need guys that produce in the playoffs, chandler doesnt play very well in the playoffs, I want the rangers to go after marchessault, he is good in the playoffs, thats what the rangers need, guys that have been proven to play well in the playoffs, the rangers need a solid right wing and a center!!

Chytil is CHYT. dude's middle name is POTENTIAL that never materialized. We hang on to these guys and make them part of the "plan". WHY? after 5 yrs what have we seen? he's a long term Kratzov. Remember all that hope that Lias Andersen was supposed to have? We need some big tough guys that are not afraid to bang heads. Chytil is also VERY SOFT. need to move on from Lindgren (size and contract), Kakko, one of the above=K, Z or Bread. I'd still keep Panarin cause you still have to win during the season, to get to playoffs. Guys like Goodrow end up being key in playoffs. Chytil did nothing but upset the rotation on this team. Lindgren is not good enough to be paired with Fox, both shrimps against the FL and bigger teams (even TB). Can't have your top pairing being under 6 ft, going up against Barkov types. They got whooped.
He would be a nice pick up. 3line could be Cuylle-Stephenson-who knows (not Chytil, Kakko, Wennberg, Roslovic, Brodzynski, Vesey)…maybe Othmann, who is a left shot LW

Arthur Kaliyev. thats the guy we are looking for. I see all these social media nyr channels posting about developed players rather than under rated good for price players. WE ARE UNDER A SALARY CAP AND WE HAVE SALARY ISSUES. This guy can be optained for a later draft pick, and if you look at his record its very good. 28pts in 56 games is so underated plus hes young. Not some old head which you think is still good
