Les séries éliminatoires n’étaient pas nécessaires puisqu’Ottawa a remporté les deux moitiés de la saison de la LNH avant de battre Seattle lors d’une finale de coupe de cinq matchs. Im so early there's no audio
Clint Benedict has very little name recognition today, but he was better than Georges Vezina pretty much every year they were both in the league. If Vezina didn't die from tuberculosis, I think the modern award could be named after Benedict instead.
to put it into perspective, the 2nd highest scorer on the Bulldogs after Malone was George Carey, who had 11 goals and 16 points
I'm loving this series…You're never too old to learn…Thank You Shannon.😊
nice to see your bringing back this series.
Can you do a video on the NOSHO 😉 Please?
I think a cool touch for the board would be, adding HOF beside the names of the players who made it to the Hockey Hall of Fame
I wish Shannon would do these historical hockey videos in a THG robe with a pipe in one hand and a hockey history book in the other while sitting in a fancy chair. Maybe a fireplace in the background and small, old dog near his feet.
Its amazing how few players were on rosters back in the day 😅
10 years before my grandfather who got my into hockey was born. Thanks Al.
This is the beginning of the original NHL dynasty, the 1920s Senators!
Percy Quinn being the gateway to Eddie Livingstone, as if Eddie was heroin or something😂
are you gonna do this for every single season up until now? cause im gonna watch every single one
24 game schedule. Wonder if anybody complained about the season being too long.
39 goals in 24 games. In today's game, that would be 39/24*82 = 133 goals. Let me know when somebody matches that.
The original NHL dynasty! And people say hockey doesn't belong here
This one was fun, sense kickin the crap outta everyone lol. Bulldogs is a sweet hockey name. Can't wait for the downfall of Livingstone.
What rover ?
Has there ever been a man more hated by the NHL as an organization than Livingstone?
Cool
Ty Go Sens!
according to extreme weather watch, the high for Ottawa in April 1920 was 20 on the 20th.
Worth of mentioning. Frank Brophy got sick in the late part of the season. So who did Quebec use in goal in the last two games? Defenceman Harry Mummery :D.
So in the last game of their existence Quebec beat future Stanley Cup winner Ottawa with defenceman in the net. 😀
I remember watching this 😂
The thumbnail – Those sweaters with the matching socks!!! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Understated theme in these recent videos is "Seattle, bit of a dynasty in their own right!" Might be worthy of its own video. Why yes I live in Seattle, why do you ask?
I'm enjoying this series.
