Des informations selon lesquelles Elias Lindholm s’apprête à entrer sur le marché libre après avoir rejeté un contrat 7×7 avec Vancouver… les Ducks pourraient-ils agir le 1er juillet ?

“We talked about how it sounds like the Canucks are willing to go around seven time seven for Lindholm,” said Sportsnet‘s Elliotte Friedman today on The Jeff Marek show.

“It doesn’t look like that’s going to happen, so the Canucks are kind of looking at this like, ‘We’re probably not going to be able to keep Lindholm, what is our next option?’”

Certainly wouldn’t complain about adding him to the lineup, but the more time has passed the more I’m hoping we go the Stamkos/Marchesseault route of a vet on a high aav, short term deal.

Especially cause what if Draisaitl makes it to free agency and we can offer him a blank check.

7×7 is the proce a team who’s in their window pays and is not worried about year 5-7.

7×7 for the ducks is really dumb. I’d rather go after a defensive forward like aube-kubel for cheaper. He would fit in much better locking down the bottom 6 RW and top PP unit than a 30 year old scoring winger

If the 7×7 rumor is true that is an easy pass. Would rather try and get Marchessault, Stamkos, or Toffoli for 3-4 years on a high AAV rather than lock up valuable cap space for seven years on a guy who has scored 30+ goals only once and 70+ pts twice in his career.
