I saw the score last night Vegas 4, Sharks 3 OT last night and assumed the Sharks had lost.
It did go through my mind that maybe the goal was being reviewed, because the score didn't say final, but I assumed incorrectly the game was over.
I'm glad I rechecked!
Anybody that thinks this is a bad call simply doesn't understand hockey, and/or is a Knights fan.
Goalie sold that big time, clipping the goalies stick( which was outside the crease) doesn’t cause ur skate to kick out, goal should have stood
North America has ruined all it's pro sporting leagues in its insatiable hunger for the all mighty dollar. The NHL is a sad shadow of the league it used to be.
Horrible call, marchy was not even im the crease and was rode from behind by the defender making it impossible for him to change direction. Martins blocker is way out and marchy running into it or the stick did not differ the initial shot, it was on martin to regain body control and get his positioning back but couldn't.
How many knights fans here actually know anything about hockey? Go away.

Had Theodore's shot gone in. 10000% Correct call. Instead, it hit #81 in the legs and dropped under the SJS defender. #81 continues his play, but Jones is sitting there wondering where it is. Then he sees it and tries, and FAILS to make the play. Goalie interference 5 seconds after the bump? Weak. Good goal by SJS to win it, but never should have gotten to that. Paper Sharks. Fall anytime contact is made. 7 PPs ?? Got every call from a not too dirty VGK team. (And Dillon kicked Jones' skate). Very weak call. It is what it is.
The tip of his skate was outside the crease as well as his stick.

The problem is that the same thing happened to Fleury earlier in the game and they let the goal stand. Also concerned about the Sharks player having two hands on Marchessault’s back. It DOES feel like the NHL is panicking a bit and trying to make it seem like they didn’t give Vegas such a strong team. But they did have to pay HALF A BILLION DOLLARS for that team and many of the players have stepped up this year. Karlsson being the best example. And BTW I live in Las Vegas and have watched hockey with my Dad as a young child (and I am 41 now!) So please don’t assume all VGK fans are first year fans or don’t understand the game.

Just curious, so if a player leans into a goalies stick even if he is not in the crease then that’s considered interference? That’s what I saw happened.
Not here for the goal, just here for the women at 0:40 on this video, remember seeing her when I watched the game live and wanted to see her again, only here for her, Vegas gotta score more at home an put women like that on the goal screen.
