Barkov will be somewhat neutered playing in Edmonton anyway, even if he is healthy, as the Oilers have the last line change.

This is precedent for hits where you leave your feet with your hands up and connect an elbow to the face. Minor penalty, no fine, no suspension. Remember that next time, NHLDPS. Even if the name on the back of the jersey doesn't say Draisaitl.

The real question is, who dove better: Luostarinen or Barkov? I guess Tkachuk and Bennett weren't getting enough calls with the constant snapping their heads back and looking at the refs, so these two had to level up.

What a joke of a comment. Draisaitl is a highly skilled player and can easily stay on the ice for the hit if he wants to, but he was frustrated and wanted to take out the guy who have effectively shut down McDavid and him.
Should absolutely be at least a one-game suspension to get crap like that away from the game.
