Marner won't be going anywhere all these people calling for him to be traded are retarded he has constantly been the best leaf since he started here in the regular season and the post season he played hurt this post season doesn't deserve all the blame

Couple weeks ago i was all for re-signing bert and domi but more i think about it i would rather just sign domi and move knies to first line with matthews and domi as knies plays a style similar to bert and i think, only younger with more intensity and alot more room to grow and get better.. bert is what he is at this age he isnt going to get any better then a decent player and is only heading toward his play declining… the 5-6 mill it will take to re-sign him could be used elsewhere

If the leafs are ever going to be a contender, Rielly can't be on the top pairing and isn't a #1 d-man. Since his fluke 20goal season he has averaged under 8goals a season. How is that a offensive threat, he is a ZERO threat from the point on the PP and has the shot of a 10yr old girl. Big options but all up to Marner if the leafs make any big adds.
It's pairing, not line NICK get with the program. Comparing Rielly with the Nurse contract one of the worse in the league is comical. Rielly is a one dimensional d-man that has ZERO defense ability and is a non threat from the point on the PP. What he does is pass the puck to star forwards and picks up assists. There is 48 d-men in the NHL last season with more goals than Rielly.

They don't have the cap space to get 2 top 4 D men and a 1B goalie. A Marner trade would give them enough to fill those holes in this lineup. its doubtful that happens so my expectations are very low for them to get much done in FA .

Reilly is not a great defenseman. He's a liability in both ends of the ice and most of his points are off of stars. Watch him go into the corner with another player, he's afraid. Lastly, 1v1 in a foot race to a puck, he loses it because he's so weak.
i'd trade marner for theodore & first and use that cap space to sign pesce and then id also grab 2 outta these 3 montour, zadorov and tanev.
