He likes the logo but it’s the worst in the league…..
There’s honoring the history of hockey in the state and there’s living in the past. Too many fans don’t realize they fall in the latter camp.
Alt jerseys only. I don’t wanna switch completely to North Stars colors. They should add in a black stripe this coming season! That would be rad!
I will say it seems like an issue that is divided by age. As someone who saw my favorite team abruptly move to Texas and take the name/logo with them when I was 12, I would like the nostalgia. No matter what happens I still don’t feel that same connection to the Wild that I did with the North Stars.
I can absolutely understand how dumb it would sound to a younger person who maybe doesn’t remember the North Stars as much, that makes total sense too.
Honestly, I think the third jersey with the North Stars color scheme was the best possible compromise.
