Georgie is not meant to be a backup goaltender in this league, he needs to play consistently in order to play up to his potential.
It's pretty obvious that he wants to leave, to join a team where he can play more frequently. Tough when you are behind one of the top goaltenders in the league.

rangers always produce high quality goaltenders; georgiev is not a number 2 but im glad we have him back there. hes played in a lot of big games for us and gotten a lot of big wins. im sure we'll see him out there on another team like anti raanta and talbot
