Yes! But not this year. It will be next year though he should be traded this year. This team is no good and we need more talent in this organization. Btw…never trust anyone wearing a Padres uniform. Stop being so emotionally driven about this. Skubal has more value as a trade piece than anyone we've had since Verlander. Harris needs to reboot this rebuild and the fastest way to do that is by taking Skubal. We didn't move Fulmer or Boyd when we should have years ago, and the rebuild stalled and cost Avila his job. Harris should learn from that! It's why he gets paid the big bucks and the fans will just have to deal with it.
Why trade him? Why not build around him? The Tigers have the money. To me it does not make sense. The Tigers are never moving forward to if you trade someone like him. You would need a boat load of all star players pitching and hitting to make a trade like this worthwhile. What the coach said about this?
