@Oilers d'Edmonton

  1. thankfully by the end of saturday night, this series will conclude.

FLA has been the superior team and will make the first finals sweep since 1998. 🎉

  2. It’s hard to beat the Russian Gas Bob is on 😂

He is the first goalie in YEARS I have genuinely seen steal goals from superstar players.

I’d appreciate more if it wasn’t against the Oilers.

The Oilers have to get goals like they did in the 3rd period early in game 4.

(I have to adjust this quote for Bobrovsky)

“He can’t stop everything he can’t see”

  3. Florida, bob especially, are just damn good. It also doesnt help that several of the Oilers key players are injured and that includes Mcdavid and Draisaitl.

  4. Honestly Oilers were counted out back in the regular season and bounced back. They are used to this.

Oilers have Panthers right where they want them.

    Edmonton in 7

  5. Too many players need to be benched and there aren't enough replacements or room on the bench. Its done done done.

  6. Nothing has gone "horribly wrong", they're just up against a far better team. I'm an Oilers fan and I thought the Vancouver series would be a toss-up at best and I figured Dallas to beat them for sure. The fact they're even in the final is gravy.

  7. No all the wrong here is Maurice is out coaching knobby. Plus Fla Ds play almost perfect every game. No mistakes whatsoever or turns over. Not to mention goalie out play Oilers goalie. They figured out how Oilers play in all areas.

  8. Like u , I have listened and watched for decades….and my mindset is fixed…

…this " just win one game mentally is the problem…it's why it's never worked…

You must have a rigid champions mentality….you must look, see, and mindset far into future….like a true champion…

At 0 and 3 you look in the camera and confidently declare, we are going to win it all…

You will strike fear into your opponent….then go play like champions…no, is NOT AN OPTION…!!!

  9. I wish media outlets would stop talking about "OMG what went wrong with the Oilers?" and instead acknowledge that the Panthers are the much better team in this series. They have shown more depth and i will go back to a comment that Gretzky said on TNT back in the second round " to win a Stanley Cup you have to have depth. You cannot just win with a super star. Every detail and play matters" That is what we have all been watching through 3 games. Oilers are slow to the puck. They do not fight for it. If you watch the Panthers there is always people coming to fight for the puck. It is elementary my Dear Dr Watson" The Oilers are simple beat by a better team"

  10. Panthers learned from losing the cup four straight last year, build a team that plays without offence, just play dirty, clutch and grab, let the other team make turnovers and giveaways, then capitalize on them, hence why the offensive oilers are doomed.

  11. Good God guys, it's not about McDavid n draistal being injured, it's not about the refs (😂) it's about oilers simply not good enough, offence, defence and especially goaltending. This is coming from an oilers fan..

  12. Edmonton has lied to itself. Florida isn't just a physical well coached team. Florida has speed, they have skill. It's just not as pronounced because they don't have to just play one style.

  13. Florida is a really good team. Edmonton might have been a really good team, but at the allstar break they decided they were more interested in trying to win McDavid the Art Ross than they were in continuing to build their team defensive structure, threw it all away, and went to playing offence first outscore your mistakes hockey again. Team defence isn't something you can turn on and off. You have to commit to it all the time, like Florida have, or you end up a loser.

  14. You guys in the east talk shitye and think Edmonton is better than they are. All 4 teams in the Atlantic are better than Edmonton(including Toronto) Carolina and NYR are better. Dallas, Colorado, LV, and Vancouver (with Demko in the net)are better. stop Leon and Mc cry baby and you win. oh yea Floridas goalie is stealing games unlike Skinner

  15. Just wondering where this “lethal “ power play is?? All the commentators couldn’t stop going on and on about that… hilarious that Florida has shut them down

  16. It hasn’t gone wrong, there is one player who dominates and defines the play of Panthers and it’s Barkov and Bobrowsky who shuts the goal.

  17. Holland IS THE PROBLEM ! $9.25 for an DEADHEAD ( Darnell Nurse ) and 2 Goalies who can't stop a Beach Ball !!!! WAKE UP
Holland .IT IS TIME TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH THE FAMILY !!!!! McDavid must be THINKING ……….. !

  18. I called sweep right from the beginning for the cats – it was going to not even be a contest, and it hasent. Oilers have looked like they dont want it, FLA does, thats the difference

  19. Even though the cats block many shots , the oilers need to shoot more and screen Bob . Screens and deflections are a goalies worst nightmare. Credit goes to Florida because they have shut down the other playoff team’s top scorers .

  20. The Oilers had an easy path to the final. And now they’re playing a complete team (something they are not)

  21. Every sports reporter acts as if the only team that has made mistakes in this series have been the Edmonton Oilers. If this was true how have the Edmonton Oilers had so many breakaways? The difference truly is that every time the Florida Panthers make a mistake Sergei Bobrovsky bails his team out, once making a save on a two different players! Even at this point if the Oilers pulled off a second miracle on ice and came back and won Sergei Bobrovsky is still the Conn Smythe Trophy winner.
