Who should the Sabres target in free agency?
I doubt any of these guys would want to come to Buffalo. There are FAs that are lower priced, more reasonable and we could get on shorter term. These are all great players though.
Skinner and a 4th round pick for Laine. Be able to get out of that large of a contract a yr sooner…
First things first…who leaves Buffalo to open spots for any free-agent signings? Speculating who could be coming to Buffalo is rather pointless unless we know which roster spots are available. Right now, the top two lines are pretty much set (Skinner, Thompson & Tuch, and Peterka, Cozens, & Quinn) so without a trade to open up one of those positions, speculating about free agents is rather a waste of time. I'd rather want speculation about who the next Team Captain is going to be!
