The reason the Oilers won is because they played the best game this series, and it was only their B plus game. Typical Oilers. If they bring this same game or better 3 more times, they will be taking home the Cup.

Florida is going to try to make a statement after such a humiliating game in Edmonton on home ice. They are absolutely going to throw the kitchen sink at Edmonton, everything they got….If (and i mean a massive IF) we can wether the storm and squeek a win florida will be exausted for game 6, their confidence will be down, they will be extremely emotional probably getting alot of penalties. If we win game 5 i think game 6 is ours for the taking. The caveot being of skinner continues to play like his life depends on it. One game at a time.

Noody loses a game 8-1 if it’s a Gimme game, plus Tkachuk had his whole family there waiting for the sweep and watch him hoist the cup. They left the game halfway through the 3rd period.

Nothing is imposable, if they can win game five its a whole new series and the pressure is on the Panthers and the Oilers can just go out and play their game and see what happens

Stop feeding "Bob" pucks on the ice, and this is what happens. The series is lost, but they can still build on this. If the rumors are true that Draisaitl, McDavid and Bouchard want to stay long-term Oilers, then there is lots they can build on from this series.
We'll see how G5 goes. It would be nice to at least bring one last game back to Edmonton, to close out the year.
Still a long shot, but if the Oilers can pull out a win in Florida and bring it home with momentum, things get really interesting. Panthers will be out for redemption, so the Oilers will have to play the game of the season. Still totally possible.

If any team is going to come back from 3 games to none, it's this edition of the Edmonton Oilers. A 5-1 or 7-2 win wouldn't have me thinking that the Oilers might come back. But 8-1, either someone threw the game or the Oilers are going to make a series of it unless they get several VERY BAD bounces.
