Game 4 strengthened Bob's case for MVP should the Panthers win, not weaken it, unless you're leaning towards McDavid. That game showed that if Bob isn't on top of his game, Florida gets caved in.

sorry you are giving Bob way too much credit – majority of the shots were at his chest and pads – in game 4 Oilers were hitting the targets and Bob couldn’t stop those shots – in all the 40+ years I’ve watched Stanley Cup playoffs a goalie hasn’t won the Conn Smythe after a performance like Bob had in game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals (the last series for the cup)
