flight between FLL and YEG is about 4100km. It is about a 5 and a half hour flight direct. An 8 hour non-stop flight in North America would be something like Miami to Anchorage. Poor hockey players can stuff it sitting in their private all-business class jets.

My assumption with the game 4 score line was that Florida was dealing with jetlag or other fatigue related issues. Giving up 8 goals and scoring 1 kind of implies they weren't anywhere near 100%, especially after how they dominated the first 3 games.
