Perunovich. A hobey baker winner who still hasn't taken off due to injury. Unfortunately Every injury takes away valuable development years. Fair enough for another prove your worth contract.
Hronek worked well with Hughes, no way you let him walk and having him for 8 years is a great deal.
This is going to age like a fine wine, 3 years from now he's an elite RHD playing for millions less than what one would be worth at that time.

Perunovich signing seems right. Not too much for a guy that can play well but gets hurt a bit.
Pretty good deal for the Canucks. Still a young guy, RHD first pair and of course the Canadian market malus. Everything under 8 would be good. Cap goes up. It is 2024, Inflation and all the other stuff. People can't compare this to 5-6 year old contracts. I would predict that 2nd pair guys get this much in 2-3 years.
I think Bertuzzi and Toffoli would be great signs. Same with Dillon.

Locking down Quinn's D partner for next year and beyond was extremely important, its simply a bonus its a young extremely talented RHD on a long term deal. Im glad Hronek is staying and im glad we dont have to have the headache of trying to find a first line RHD to pair with Quinn

7.25m is just perfect imo. When I first heard rumours being at least 8m, at the time I thought it was a tad too much I was thinking 7m would be fair, so now that's it's 7.25 I am totally fine and even happy at that number. So good job on the Canucks and Allvin for getting that done.

I think that's a fair contract for Hronek to partner Hughes. Management did a good job keeping it under $8m a year and getting it done fairly early. Now they can focus on resigning or replacing other players.
As a wings fan who saw him be medeocre for a good while id say this feels like a reach. I understand RHD and such but lets hope his 1 good season wasnt a fluke becsuse now he has EIGHT more to go

I think the Hronek deal will either be great or subpar. I don't see it being the most insane, high-value signing, but I also don't see it going too wrong for the Canucks in the worst-case scenario.

This deal is going to age like milk. Hronek benefited tremendously from playing with Quinn Hughes. He's a liability in the defensive end and has potential to be good on PP but Hughes has the QB role there. This is a brain dead deal that the Nucks are again going to regret sooner than later. There are so many right handed defenders as UFAs that are better than Hronek and would've cost less. Matt Roy for example. 5.5M would have been a way better deal.
this is perfect. 9 for Jake, 5 for Zaddy, Lindholm and Joshua Walk. 2.5 for Myers, 1.5 for Sliovs. 2.25 for Bluegar Trade Mikheyev to Utah so they make the floor along with a 3rd and 6th

it is long.. and that's my only concern. That being said i am glad he's remaining a Canuck, he was dynamite with Hughes all year and really pushed the the play out of the D zone and sustained offensive pressure , which made the season a huge success for the most part.
