Jacob Markstrom played 213 games for the Flames , fifth all-time, and leaves the franchise sitting fifth in wins and third in shutouts.

He was great when he was on, but I won’t miss all those first shot goals.
We are going the opposite direction and he is old. Glad he is getting a crack elsewhere.

The pain continues 🥲

Best goalie we’ve had in quite some time, let’s hope Wolf is ready to take the reigns.

Best goalie we had since Kipper, took us out of the dark days we had in net. Mentored our new starter, Wolf. Thank you Marky 🙏

Am I the only one that remembers him shitting the bed against the Oilers in the second round…. Basically did nothing else to help us, I mean he was a good goalie for stretches at a time and maybe a few games a season where he stole the game but that’s it. Good riddance.

True pro. Always appreciate him picking us over Edmonton. This is a guy who WANTED to be here.
He had some amazing years providing us with goaltending stability that we lacked for so long.

Other than completely shitting the bed in the Edmonton series, best goalie we’ve had in ages and I’m going to miss him. If he continues to play like he did for us this year, NJ should be back in the playoffs in no time. Miss ya, Marky, and good luck with the Devils 🔥

Tkachuk in the finals with Florida for back to back seasons against your cross providence rivals Edmonton and Jacob Markstrom gets traded to New Jersey… this must be a weird timeline for you guys

So long Marky.

Man, it’s hard being a flames fan. Glad to see Wolf get more time in the show tho

Couldn’t pull it off when we needed him. Sucked so bad against the Oilers. McDavid broke him…
He was great and all, at times, he is steady, but at the end of the day I hope he’s the last Canuck goalie we trade for.

I will miss him.

Man he was fun to watch, stings that we couldn’t put it together except that one year when he was here.

If I could go back and time and choose a season for us to win the cup, I’d pick 2022 over 2004. Marky played so well all year, and deserved a damn cup. Shame that it fell apart in the post-season.
No_Heat_7327
Choked in the biggest series this franchise has seen since ’04 which directly led to the darkest timeline.
Won’t miss him.

Dude was steady, had some bad stretches but was always reliable. NJ got a stud, when he’s on he’s on. Bring on the tank!!!

Marky was a great goalie for us. He will be missed and I hope he does well in NJ and gets his shot at a cup
