On one hand they have another center to replace him (not that he’s anywhere as good) but on the other hand they could be buying to try and make the playoffs again
Edit: looks like a 1 for 1 trade for Darcy keumper. Really weird trade.
Must be less, much less. Seems like they are trying to avoid rebuilding/bottoming out, so very unlikely that they are looking to trade away their youngish players.
Washington, Pittsburgh, Islanders….. lots of metro teams out there refusing to admit it’s time for a rebuild.

Judging by the bizarre and stupid trade Washington just made, does Skinner and #11 for Strome sound good?
We could maybe pick up someone else. Probably not Strome. They have 3.7m to spend on 4 players just to get to a 20 man roster.
Really depends on which PLD they are getting whether or not this turns out to be a good trade for the Caps. Gotta admire the balls to make this move but I think it bites them in the ass.
