   only possible deal that POSSIBLY makes sense is Nikolaj Ehlers, which seems like quite the lateral move. would rather us hold onto Necas and give him a 1 year bridge deal to make the contract work next year unless somehow there’s an upgrade to be made via trade. i have no idea how CHI is still in the running unless Kurashev+ is able to come back to us

   I mean if they really believe he become a star next to Bedard are they willing to give up the number 2 pick? That’s theoretically an answer for Carolina as they would get a « star » back in Leshunov or Demidov
