  1. Watch the tapes…you arent making hay from your contact, they are changing their game to absorb/slip the hits, and on or after puck retrievals they have you chasing. They are now I think playing in pairs, waiting for you to commit to the hit so they can relay it to the next guy after absorbing the hits….now you know…and you have time, watch the tapes. They are also holding possession deeper down the lineup looking for goals like Janmark and taking it to the net so you cannot expect your matched line to dump and chase they have to attack to or just rag pucks to not surrender posession —- just know that lines been kicking you hard simply because you arent processing that they are not going to play dump and chase bottom 6 style they are going to hold on to pucks not overpass and go for the kill…they are taking risk down there on lower lines on purpose…..so when you hit you have to be Center body mass and not let the puck carrier slip away … obviously you have to look for SH chances not force it but you MUST look for it and with an aggressive PK you might as well greenlight guys to pin it if they get a good bounce, just dont send all the supports in deep ,let him go alone . Coach it looks to me like they are taking the hits and intentionally squirting pucks(like a relay after a pick-play) out to paired teammates coming in upspeed who cannot be caught if they happen to get the puck, and this will catch you flatfooted and why you might be chasing to much …..watch the tapes and see how they are reacting when you physically go after the puck carrier and look for their 2nd man in how hes getting there to the loose pucks and how they are retrieving pucks. They know where the pucks are going after you tag them and they are squirting pucks into "areas" where their 2nd part of the pair can pick up or retrieve pucks while coming in slightly late and Upspeed or with superior speed. Just saying. Coles notes, you are having trouble maintaining and managing your Gaps on their Supports coming in after their puck carriers are hit , so after puck battles 1vs1 after you have hit them …they are winning the puck retrieval battles Post-hit and their 2nd man in supports are picking those pucks up with incoming speed catching you flatfooted. Pre-plan to anticipate their post-hit strategy an decide how to close the Gap on their 2nd man in and stay on the right side of the puck doing it.

  2. Last night he was upset, now he is back in control. I think this "dragging back to Alberta" thing will backfire for Edmonton in friday 😂…

  3. Do it for us, do it for the players, do it for the franchise, and do it for yourself, Coach! Bring this cup to SFL.

  4. Let's go Cats. The refs stole game 5 for the Oilers. We had that game won if it wasn't for the worst, unfair, calls of all time. The refs tried to give the Oilers every game but the Panthers were still able to win them in spite of the unfair calls. We'll get them in the next game. BECAUSE WE DESERVE TO WIN IT. AND WE ARE THE BETTER TEAM. Play the best game you have ever played in your lives. AND LET'S GET ER DONE BOYS 🍾 🏆

  5. AS A PANTHERS DIE HARD EVERYONE CHILL TF OUT…. We are still up in the series lots of hockey left just relax. Fans freaking out on the internet doesn’t help the team

  6. Florida no longer has the advantage here, it's allll soilers now. Think about it.

They're going back to EDM and the soilers have home ice advantage and a LOT of momentum and confidence, having just embarrassed their biggest obstacle (Bobrovsky) two games in a row, one being on his own HOME ICE. It's highly unlikely that they're gonna lose the next game ON THEIR OWN HOME ICE, not with this much momentum they've generated.

The pressure is on FLORIDA right now to close this thing out. If they could do it, they would've done it already.

I'd love to be wrong, but this is as far as Florida goes, me thinks. Back to Florida tied 3-3. Upon which, they'll lose on home ice because Paul Maurice and his assistant coach aren't making any changes to the way they play and EDM's coaching staff are continuously making changes to the way they play hockey.

Inadequate coaching is going to cost them the cup. Soilers will probably score TWO shorthanded goals next game.

  7. The panthers have to do better full stop. The oilers have been playing much better. The oilers have figured out a way to capitalize on the panthers forecheck which is paying off for them.

  8. Panthers certainly are determined to make this as difficult on themselves as possible. Oilers made some adjustments and now it's Florida's turn to make some adjustments of their own.

  9. Everyone (panthers fans) needs to take a breath. The cup is still ours to lose. We have to win 1 game. They have to win 2. Simple as that.
5-5 we look great. Our boys just need to come out period 1 with that fire. We got this.

  10. It’s amazing how calm he is considering the circumstances. Has to be his years of experience. I’m angry, so typical of South Florida sports. Nothing is ever easy or dominant. If record could be set of losing the cup being up 3-0, it would be us.
