Well since the pandemic is over and we don't get a long rest like Tampa did or play a lowly Canadian team that would never make the playoffs unless they only play against the Canadian teams like ….Tampa, I say trade his ass he's useless.

Keep Goodrow. Have said that from day one of his signing. Get a few more of him. And less softness.
If they need to get cap space, he’s the easiest solution. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that.
According to Frank Seravalli buying out Goodrow during the first buyout window would "not only not have a penalty, but a unique salary cap credit of $247,222 next season." As a result, the Rangers would save a nice chunk of change for the 2024-25 campaign by ridding of his deal.

No doubt Goodrow will be gone. Figures, only sense of physicality on a wuss team. He don’t stand a chance. He had one of the better series, in a physical Panthers series. Bottom line, typical Rangers. Built for the season, not the playoffs. Anyone who disagrees….you can still be content with collecting Presidents trophy’s. Think the Panthers would trade trophy’s…
As I've been saying all along. I think that there should be a big package that would send him (Jacob Trouba) to Columbus for Patrik Laine (even though he's considered by many as A Locker Room Cancer). I think that both need A Fresh Start & would be swapping $8M/yr players, not to mention that John Davidson/Jeff Gorton were so enamored of Jacob Trouba that it left The New GM Chris Drury with no alternative, but to, unfortunately, make the Pavel Buchnievich Trade. So, hopefully, John Davidson will still want him. You can add players, prospects & picks on either or both teams to make this happen, especially since Patrik Laine, in wanting out of Columbus doesn't really give them much leverage. What's the mentality behind taking a buyout penalty, of half the player's reasonable salary. just to A) pay for it for 4 more years, B) have to eat half of it this year, and STILL C) have to add a body who (arguably better) will also be paid around same amount, yet now we are paying for a plyer and a half? Besides, you should ask yourself, WHO has the highest cap value, Biggest salary and Best potential to be desired at FULL salary in a trade??? i'd say look at the top 4 or 5 salaries, and how they didn't contribute in the Florida series, start there by trading. Panarin, Kreids, Mika, Fox, all tradeable at full salary, with good return. Lets not kid ourselves. Fox is NOT a great all round D man. Doesnt match up very well against playoff competition.
And Goodrow wins faceoffs, plays PK, is gritty, and had the best allround full playoffs, consistent from Game 1 Round 1. His line started the scoring in the playoffs. Tinkering with Chytil and Wheeler, killed his line. There's a guy i refuse to pay…. Chytil. Measuring Goodrow just based on salary and what line he plays or is made to play on, is a weak excuse. Goodrow has Cups under his belt. What does Mika have?
