  1. Not sure if its the biggest statement, it would take something to eclipse Messier's "guaranteed win" statement in 94. But its up there for sure!

  2. Wait… Bruce and O-Dog said on Overdrive that it would be a sweep by Florida and Bruce said no way this goes beyond 5 no matter how many points Connor gets. Is this the same Bruce?

  3. He is way too one-dimensional of a hockey player. Has fast with great hands but that's it. Needs to learn how to back-check. Along with most of his teammates. There's more to hockey than skating fast trying to be fancy. The game has been boring for well over a decade. No one should be happy with the amount of blow-out final score games as there has been. Especially in the playoffs.

  4. I love this team. And love it's fans. Am proud to be one of them. "LET'S GO OILERS!" Joe in Toronto.

  5. The storyline of the Oilers winning the cup down 3-0 with a guy named McJesus resurrected from the dead would be the best storyline in NHL history.

  6. Has this Bryan Hayes guy played professional Hockey??

he acts like he’s been through it but he looks full of it 🤣

  7. Think this guy is getting a bit ahead of himself, lets watch game 6 before we start talking about a 0-3 come back.

Mcdavids the GOAT of the NHL before this series.

  8. Sure whatever Gino… your platform ousted out the oilers long ago… i truly hope oil hockey shuts you up.. try not be a ban wagon elder lol.. but like i say.. mcdavid n leon and alll oilers have the done wayyyy wayy alot for the Canada spotlight on fair , skill , hockey…they our champs regardless of outcome.. but we know oilers deserve it

  9. Dry has to show up next game and wield some of his magic! We need him now more than ever. Will he contribute like we know he can, like Connor does? There is the real and avoided question, the missing part to the Oilers Stanley Cup equation. Period.

  10. the media is drooling over MCD so bad that Krispy Kreme called and they want their glaze back… That can only hurt the oilers because if Florida is listening to this, they would rather lose a leg than let this lovefest continue. I will blame the Canadian media if Florida comes out with two bull horns on their helmets.. Oliers will be cool and focussed but the media will have pissed Florida off… (hope i'm wrong)

  11. 1:10 Ya, but back then, you didn't have a salary cap to contend with, a 32 team league, and a league with great parity across it, because of said salary cap either. There is a reason the Oilers and Pens of that era were never down 3-0 in the SCF. They were both juggernaut teams that just laid waste to the league in their primes.

Not to take anything away from Gretzky or Lemieux, they are the GOATs, no questions asked, but back then, the league was comically lopsided, and top heavy with a few teams. The cup is much, much more difficult to win today, and that has to be taken into account as well.

  12. If he pulls off a cup yeah it’s the biggest mic drop in the last 40 years but if not he’s just another name
In the breeze! The cup is king!

  13. People will put MCDavid on Mount Rushmore of the NHLs greatest ever players if the oilers win the cup and he continues to dominate Hopefully it all happens! McDavid is simply spectacular and an incredibly clutch type player

  14. These MSM morons have no idea how little he cares about records. This is the last thing on his mind and hopefully he's not stupid enough to even tune in and listen to this type of garbage.
