This is my favorite of the entire collection and no I think Colorado did the right thing in not picking the original colors because this is a reverse retro collection.

I would have peferd This particular Avalanche Jersey to be a straight copy of the original colours wise other than that no major components.
I just dont know if it cross the lines in the same way The Hurricanes might have again.
All in all this reverse reto or throwback jerseys idea from the N.H.L feels like an understandable straight out cash grab buy The N.H.L due to the Pandemic but as I say I can understand why.

Ladies and gents, the 'Color-bec Ava-diques' OR the 'Queb-orado Nord-alanche'. Yep, this is definitely one of the best looking jerseys I've ever seen, it will sell out almost immediately, but I won't be buying one purely because I think Colorado should have used one of their jerseys and not Quebec's. For the beautiful design it gets 9 / 10.
One of the better styles. I love that they brought back the old Nordiques logo with the Av's colors. Definitely one of the Top 10, IMO.
Avs Fan here i love it but think they should of out the A logo and the C logo as the shoulder patches. The fleur-de-lis are already on the bottom. But I will be getting this jersey.

Potentially unpopular opinion: Avs fans should skip Makar or MacKinnon and get this jersey with Sam Girard’s name on the back.

8/10: I'd rather see this jersey in either navy blue or the "Nordique" blue than in white and replace the red from the original Nordiques jersey with burgundy. If the name font is similar to the current Avalanche one, it wouldn't be an issue at all. Overall, it's a good jersey.
While this is better than any Avs jersey ever, the original white Nordiques jersey is better.

3/10 save me explanation for why I am wrong. This jersey is just unnecessary and only for business. This jersey is made for all the hype beasts plain and simple. I will never understand taking a jersey from an organization that has no relation to your current franchise other than the Stanley cup team you stole from them. Not saying those players ,management, or fans don't deserve the achievements they earned/enjoyed but what I am saying is what relation does Colorado have with Quebec or the Nordiques outside that roster and owing the rights to the logo? Maybe this is a traditionalist take but this is just naive and comes off as a cash grab. Either way enjoy your Colorado northern canadiens jersey. Decently looking jersey but disregards history a lil too much.
