Bertuzzi and Domi returning are a must, before they focus on any other trades or signings
JAKE DEBRUSK, Younger, cheaper, similar numbers to Bertuzzi anyway and were gaining an excellent player overall and taking one leaf killer away from Boston. Boston could be another team we face next season, so why not take one of their big guns away right?

Bert only has 3 good yrs left in him 32 yrs after that not much left in him he's done no more 5 million per season 3 yrs

Debrusk better skater than Bert just as tuff and physical pretty well same production and younger than Bert I take Jake over Bert
I'd rather have Debrusk on the Leafs than continuing to score goals that eliminate us.

Dream world here, bare with me. If the Leafs can get Domi, Debrusk & Dakota Joshua all for under $12m in total. That seriously upgrades the toughness and production. Hopefully flip Marner for a Starting goalie & top 4 D-Man. Could still theoretically have $6m in cap after that to pursue another top 4 D
DeBrusk 87playoff games 47points .54ppg. He is not a physical player whatsoever, his most hits in one season is 107 an career hits average .94 hits per game.
Two other players who I haven’t heard being talked about for the leafs are Sean monahan and Jonathan drouin and they’d probably both be cheaper than Bert or debrusk
