He got Markstrom right, but I don’t know who this guy is.

Briere needs to channel his inner-Brian Burke and find a way to jump from #12 to #7 to #4 and steal Demidov.

I can see all the comments now. If they wanted to have a higher draft pick they should have tanked last season.

Makes sense. This might be the best time in the rebuild process to make a bold move. Assuming the team continues to improve…they will have fewer and more expensive options to get the types of impact players we need.

Trade Laughton to move up ⬆️!

The other name I’ve seen tossed around a ton since this original rumor started is Chabot. This sounds like it could shake up to be a really interesting deal

I would love to have 7th and 12th to either go Center/Center, Center/Dman, or Dman/Center depending on how the board falls.
Give me Lindstrom/Catton/Helenius and/or Dickenson/Yakemchuk/Parekh/Silayev.
If 4-5 D come off the board in the first 6 picks, you either grab what’s left of Levshunov/Buium/Dickenson/Silayev/Parekh/Yakemchuk, take the top C not named Celebrini or grab Demidov if you want to put your eggs in one Russian basket.

I love how every thread in this hoagie inevitably devolves into an argument about the merits of tanking
