@Canadiens de Montréal

I love how our media and quasi-insiders are doing everything they can to expose our draft preference before June 28.

  2. FakeCrash

You would think people in charge of the draft would be very tight lipped about this stuff, wouldn’t they?

Not gonna be surprise if habs reach for Sennecke… not gonna be surprise when half the fan base is mad about it and other half try to convince themselves and everyone else he’s the best thing alive. Im just very suspicious about reaching at 5… probably be in the mad/disappointed half if that happen but hope im on the wrong side if it happen

Well, at least one of those four will be available at 5. I’d be happy with any of them except Lindstrom.

  5. FxSpecter

One Beckett Sennecke please. If Demidov is no longer available.

  6. bsaures

I will be really annoyed if they pick sennecke over iginla

  7. no issues with that tbh

but over the last two draft we had little to no leaks, but this year we have had a bunch, not sure i believe them (but i want them to be true)

Sennecke would actually be sick, the more I see on him the more I like the idea. Looks like he’d be so exciting to watch play.

  9. According to me, the Habs will draft the players they prefer amongst the ones available at 5 and I will support whoever it will be.

Sounds good to me, Sennecke is an intriguing player

Where’s my Connelly boys at ??? Get the Snake his boy

Nothing can be trusted. Misinformation is being leaked on purpose no doubt. I trust Kent to make the correct decision.

  13. treehouse_applepie

Well, I guess Tij Iginla needs to step up his game if he wants to make Montreal’s draft list!

Give me catton over anybody but demidov

  15. StoneColdMethodMan

I have a fear that Cayden Lindstrom will be a Nick Bjugstad 2.0, convince me I’m wrong

  16. flepine44

People really don’t understand how dominant Buium is.

I’m reading through the comments and this is the anti-2023 draft. There are so many players I want. I’d be happy with Demidov, Lindstrom, Buium, Parekh, Silayev, Iginla and Catton. And probably a few others like Dickinson and Yakemchuk.

The hard choices won’t start at 5 like last year. They will start at #2.

I’m not sure why they would reach for Buium, a LD, over Parekh, a RD, and not even have Levshunov on their board.

Reading these threads is hilarious because it seems like nobody can agree on players in this draft. You’ve got the Sennecke, Buium, Parekh, Iginla, and Catton fans who all bring up some valid points.

This draft really seems like a litmus test for what you value in a player.
