Imagine a top 6 of Jack, Brady and Laine, Hischier, Timo and Bratt and two solid D men free agents like Zadarov, Tanev or Dillon, with better than average goaltending if not better. Get it done, Fitz.
Remember NJ has two 2nd rounders in the 2025 draft (Toffoli trade). So, might not have a first, but we do have that extra asset come the deadline.
I am sure the owners told Fitz this: This season was pitiful! You did not do your job, and now we have a record drop off in season tickets! Do you job, or you'll be out of one.I like the resigning of Mac. We need that enforcer. Signing Markstrom with some salary retention in exchange for Kevin Bahl was a steal. Yeah Bahl was big, but he was soft. Now we have a roster spot open to get a defensemen that is nasty. And we have an extra $2 million in cap space to do it. I have mixed feelings about Keefe, but he at least has consistently gotten his team to the playoffs. I think he has potential. Yeah Fitz is definitely on the road to redemption. Now he needs to #BringBradytoNJ!

2020-21 – Devils finish 29th
2021-22 – Devils finish 28th
2023-24- Devils finish 24th
Here is my question : how many more high 1st round picks do you guys want? We have enough kids on this team, what we lack is experience/grit/size.
Win now is in effect, there is no other option. Gotta take advantage of this stretch of time, last year was supposed to be 1 of these early window years & look how quickly it spiraled.
Coaching looks good. Stole a goalie & used the discount to pay Macdermid who will protect the kids. Add tough defense, and a quality forward like Brady Tkachuk or a Stamkos to your point.. I mean sky is the limit

We bring in a good goalie after we get rid of ruff just two bring in keef ruff is so much better he got us to round 2 with a less talented offense and goalie before keef won a round
He'll develop them alright two play games and not train

I agree with most of what you say on your show but I am an analytics guy. I feel Brady Tkachuk could have higher stats but he is a well rounded hockey player and he does not specialize in one area. With him the Devils become insanely good. However, if they give up too much and tkachuk gets injured Calgary gets next year’s #11 pick. Perhaps they should keep the depth and make a tkachuk with several players. Just a thought, this is no disrespect to your Devils prowess.
