They are doubling, tripling even quadrupling down on Demidov at 5th. I wonder how accurate their mock drafts have been in the past few years

Another interesting thing from the podcast is that Pronman said NHL people don’t see Sennecke making it lower than 6th or 7th, so it seems like teams believe the hype.

Pretty sure every time I see a mock draft it has a different top ten completely.

This looks like the most accurate top 10 prospects mock yet, landing spots TBD obviously, but this looks like the 10 guys that should go top 10 according to every scouting report we’ve seen.

Tij Iginla, if available, is going to Calgary. Whether he’s the best or not, all these players are so close in talent that there’s no way CGY FO passes on him

I have a weird feeling for absolutely no reason other than gut instinct that Montreal will draft a defenseman, either levshunov or Silayev if they somehow slide. Dickinson if neither is available.

If this happens, Hughes needs to get another pick in the top 15 to grab Iginla or Catton.

For some reason, I feel that CBJ with their new president and GM Don Waddell (ex-Canes GM) might want to do more crazy big moves like what he did when he started with Carolina in 2018.
Here’s how he dealt with it back then: trading out Hanafin, Ekholm, Skinner, and Adam Fox. Also, he’s already fired their CBJ coach just this week.
If history is a good indicator, he’s probably gonna deal with Patrick Laine out real quickly. Maybe with a package for another 2024 1st draft prospect. Maybe he’s aiming for us?
