💻 Site Web : https://oilersnation.com/ https://twitter.com/OilersNation/ https://www.youtube.com/@Oilersnationdotcom/ https://www.facebook.com/OilersNation/ https:// www.instagram.com/oilersnationdotcom https://www.tiktok.com/@oilersnation CRI À NOS SPONSORS !! 👍🏼 BETWAY https://betway.com/bwp/oilersnation/en-ca/?utm_source=228387&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=AFF4115833624038902 👍🏼 GRETA BAR https://www.gretabar.com/locations/ca 👍🏼 WENDYs https:/ /order.wendys.com/rewards?lang=en_CA 👍🏼 Superbes clips https://app.greatclips.com/ 👍🏼 Sherwood Ford : https://www.sherwoodford.ca/ 👍🏼 Sports Closet : https:// sportscloset.ca/ 👍🏼 Star Mechanical : https://starmechanical.ca/ 👍🏼Charm Diamond Centres : https://charmdiamondcentres.com/ 👍🏼Mill Woods Golf Course : https://www.millwoodsgolfcourse.com/ 👍🏼 Douglas : https://www.douglas.ca/oilersnation/ 👍🏼Boston Pizza : https://teamupforthewin.ca/ 👍🏼Stingers d’Edmonton : https://www.thestingers.ca/ 👍🏼Fountain Tire : https:/ /www.fountaintire.com/?utm_source=TheNationNetwork_Oilersnation&utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=Oilersnation_Playoffs 👍🏼Horse Racing Alberta : https://thehorses.com/ Contactez sales@thenationnetwork.com pour entrer en contact avec notre équipe de vente et discuter des opportunités de partenariat avec nous ! 1. Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today, I want to talk about a rivalry that has defined our great province of Alberta for decades: the storied battle between the Edmonton Oilers and the Calgary Flames. These two teams have given us unforgettable moments, thrilling games, and fierce competition. However, for too long, we have viewed this time-honored rivalry through a lens of animosity, each side entrenched in their loyalty, often with a sense of disdain for the other.

But what if we looked at it differently? What if we saw these battles not as a reason for division, but as a source of strength and unity? Imagine the power and potential if we embraced the fierce competition between the Oilers and the Flames as a way to uplift and improve one another. Because in the end, whether we cheer for the Oilers or the Flames, we are all Albertans.

When our teams clash on the ice, it's more than just a game. It’s an opportunity to push each other to greater heights, to showcase the best of Alberta’s spirit and talent. We need to recognize that this rivalry, when viewed through the lens of respect and camaraderie, can make both teams stronger and more competitive. By supporting each other, we can forge a bond that transcends the rink and unites us in our shared love for hockey.

Let's remember that the ultimate goal is not just winning games, but achieving something truly legendary. We want to bring home the most difficult trophy to win in the world: the Stanley Cup. We aspire to create a once-in-a-lifetime story, a record of resilience and depth that only one other team in history has managed to achieve. This pursuit is not just about the teams, but about a sense of pride and camaraderie that resonates with every Albertan.

So today, let’s put aside our differences and come together as one. Let’s support our hardworking teams with a cheer so loud that it echoes all the way to Texas. Let’s show the world that we are more than just Oilers fans or Flames fans – we are Albertans. United by our passion for hockey, driven by our desire to see our teams succeed, and bound by our respect for each other.

Together, we can make history. Together, we can bring the Stanley Cup back to Alberta. Together, we can show the world the true strength of our province.

    We are ALBERTANS!

    Thank you.

  2. That TikTok account holder is probably a troll or a robotic AI account. The Oilers beat the team that beat Colorado and Vegas in 6 games in reasonably convincing fashion. And Vancouver probably played the Oilers tougher than Dallas did, to Vancouver's credit. And that is End of Story.

  3. Game 6 hinges on Bobrovsky as much, or perhaps even more, than it hinges on MacDavid. Stuart Skinner has outplayed Bobrovsky in the last two games, the stats and scoresheet aren't lying here. So which Bobrovsky shows up tomorrow's night? Will Sergei Bobrovsky relocate his groove from game 1 of this series and his play from the previous Rangers' series? Or does Bobrovsky move one step closer to extending his already considerable playoff choke artist reputation to all-time legendary status. As far as I can tell, no team in the modern NHL era has ever won a Stanley Cup without spectacular goaltending, including those crucial timely saves. Skinner has been improving, Bobrovsky has had the wheels fall off. Sergei was a bit better in game 5 than he was in game 4, but not by much. He allowed 4 goals and was one goal away from Paul Maurice's yank 'im line. Florida, as a team, played much better in game 5 and still did not win. This was mostly because Stuart Skinner made some spectacular and some timely saves and Sergei Bobrovsky did not equal Skinner's performance in goal. Two of those goals Bobrovsky should have stopped, he made better saves than that several times in the Rangers' series. So Florida's fate is mistly in the hands of Sergei Bobrovsky, will he show up, or not. I say all this while fully acknowledging that Connor MacDavid is having a playoff performance for the ages and the Oilers team as a whole is giving a powerful performance as well. They've dropped a couple of bombs throughout the playoffs but this gas happened to many past Stanley Cup championship teams, including those Oilers dynasty teams from the 5 in 7 run from 1984 to 1990.

  4. F’d up my shoulder at work so I’ll be downtown early and hitting up Greta. Haven’t been there yet so looking forward to checking out the vibe.

  5. You guys need to remember that most people don't watch, you need to announce the players for Liam's game. It drives me nuts when I listen and you forget to say who the player is.
