NHL is rigged for U.S. teams to win the cup so they can keep their tv contracts. If U.S. teams aren't winning Americans won't be watching and there won't be big tv contracts. In a fair league you have to be crazy to think Canadian teams can't win a cup since 1993.

OH MY OH MY Was because he was literally shocked Montreal got the first cause poeple probably forgot montreal went in the cup finals in 2021 and the year after that they got the first . In my humble opinion i think gary was surprised because he don’t watch hockey he is a business men that is probably very busy with stuff now i know that he has done shitty things in the past like lockouts and all but that was 10 years ago like cmon . And since then he improved the salary cap issues . I think growing fans in markets like houston seattle (vegas eh idk) is brilliant. It brings in more fans and poeple shouting he should put a team in Quebec. We already have the Canadiens living in quebec (province not city) as a habs fan i growed up watching the habs so a team in Quebec yes it would work on paper but not for years on end . The Canadian dollar is so shitty rn that Quebec would go out of business. Worst Commissioner in all sports league around the world, including non-professional leagues. Most lock-out, unable to develop in proper markets, even if they did raise the profits, if there was another person in that chair, the NHL would've grown their profits 10X over with proper rules, markets and without the need to add 10 more clubs for quick money..
