As a Panthers fan I really am happy to see the Oilers make history but I'm sickened that their opponents are making zero effort now. I feel so terribly for Bob. He can only stand on his head for so long as an older goalie and his team is doing next to nothing to back him up, it's pathetic. He deserves better. They better put Stolarz in the net for the beginning of 7, but at this point it almost doesn't matter. Congrats, Oilers.

Who knows who will be lifting the Stanley Cup on Monday night, but nobody should be surprised if McDavid ties Gretzky's points record or Bobrovsky pitches a 40-save SHO. Somehow, someway, I think Florida will figure it out. They MUST break through on the PP.

It's like every game the Panthers fans think they have this team figured out, then the Oilers go out and completely debunk their theory.
Oilers can't beat Bob, guy gets yanked in the 2nd period. Oilers have lousy defense, PK stuffs them, Oilers are a 1-man show, Panthers lose 5-1 and McDavid doesn't score a single point. Skinner is gonna be a cake walk compared to Rangers and Bruins, Stu has better stats than Bob by a country mile.
Even our rookie coach is skating circles around Paul Maurice. It's a comprehensive beatdown from top to bottom and if they pull off the reverse sweep it will be the funniest thing I've ever seen in hockey in my whole life!
