Great talking point but how many owners, Canadian owners at that, do you think are willing to pay 6…8….9 million dollars to take on a bad deal for a second round pick? We talk like money is infinite when it comes to these NHL franchises but the reality is Calgary is about to go into the dumps for a few years which will not likely turn a huge profit. I can’t see ownership saying go ahead spend a bunch of money on second and third round to help other teams win.
Sell the team they suck.
