These videos are a mixed bag for me, on one hand I get to share them with my 18 year old son and relive the magic moments.

On the other hand it’s sad because of how we may never see a player of this caliber again, he was playing chess and everyone else was playing checkers.

I grew up watching Datsyuk and Zetterberg just outside of Metro detroit. Played competitive hockey all my life. Boy was I spoiled.

*Roman Josi just got schooled by the best thief in the National Hockey League…*

*Josi tries to protect the puck,*

*But Pavel Datsyuk is way too slick,*

    *Way too smart.*

    *That… is perfection.*

I miss the water bottles being sniped.

He once joked in an interview that he was so good at puck handling and takeaways because they only had 1 puck growing up, so he couldn’t lose it

    >In Russia, we had tough times. Only one puck, I always wanted the puck, so I learn how to keep it and make space and get puck when other guy has it.
