  1. I mean he can be a 60+ point a year guy in theory. I don't understand why, but we just have to deal with it

  2. Totally imagining Chevy walking into the Jets head office the day after this trade like Toby’s Spidey in the third instalment of that franchise.

  3. Hmm… Do we next see Laine traded next to Crosby… Dupois and Ovi vs Laine and Crosby, could be Interesting

  4. If Dubois doesn't work out for the Caps it should be legal for the NHL to void his remaining contract and banish him from the NHL for life. There's so many kids trying to make it to the show and then you have this fool throwing everything away because he's a lazy POS.

  5. how is anyone not aware of PLD and his drama? he can be good, but the juice is not worth the squeeze.

  6. I think PDL isn't going to enjoy feeding a flat footed ovi and we're going to see some drama between them before December.

  7. I think this is a good trade for Washington, because of where they are at with the competitiveness, there is no pressure on PLD. Wsh can retain half and trade him easy, and get a good haul for him around trade deadline.

  8. There is no fixing PLD. I don't care that he's in his mid-20s, it just further cements the fact that you can't fix him. He is, who he is.

You can't change the essence of a person, with coaching. Just ask Toronto. Creampuffs, are creampuffs. Lazy and arrogant players, are lazy and arrogant players. PLD would have had to be coached out of it, back in first year junior.

WSH just messed up, and they're gonna figure that out real soon.

  9. Tbh if you put ovi, wilson and him on a line that could be best in the league easy. People would be scared to play defensively against 3 monsters that can skate and shoot.

Tom Wilson will be the only reason this works I think he'll ride pld if he starts to coast

  10. I’m gonna get hate for this, but I don’t like Ovechkin. Now, don’t get me wrong, I respect him, as he is very close to the goal record, but I don’t want him to get it. GRETZKY is THE G.O.A.T, not Ovechkin, Gretzky. He deserves that record more in my opinion. I also don’t like him because he’s a Putin fan, and I just can’t like somebody who thinks highly of Putin. Ok. I’ve made my point, now I’d love to hear yours. Just be kind about it please 😊

  11. Dubust and Ovechshit on the same line ? Ahahahah freebie pucks given to any opponent.

  12. LOL as someone who owns a dubois jersey. i still maintain he's gonna win a cup within the next 3-4 years

  13. I don't know, if you want Dubois to succeed maybe saddling Dubois with shadow ovechkin may not be the recipe for success. Give Dubois some proper line mates and hopefully he turns it around

  14. YES! Now we get to see the two laziest players in the league compete for most pathetic shift in the game of hockey!!! Ovie this year in the ploffs was CLASSIC! Dubois saw those beer league plays and demanded he be traded to the Caps asap

  15. Heard Dubois was a pain in junior too. You can't change a soft/lazy 26 year old into a Sid or McKinnon. He's wired to be a slug and a slug he will remain.

  16. lol maybe the capitals will take a chance on jack Campbell now, hurry up Ken and trade him while the getting is good

  17. As a caps fan, we sold kuz and mantha, backstrom is done, we need new players badly, we have lindgren as a nr1, so darcy wont be that missed, we need at least a new defender, and 2 decent forwards, otherwise next season will be a pain to watch. Happy about dubois tho, have a feeling him and strome could be a decent partnership, class player, if he stays lol
