@Red Wings de Détroit

Ullmark hors du marché.

Le prochain gardien à poursuivre sera-t-il ?

That is an unbelievably bad return for Boston imo

  2. SilentStryk09

I just hate that he’s in the division.

  3. Salamangra

I’m a left end of the bell curve kind of guy, but why was Boston trying to move Ullmark in the first place? Are they that tight on cap? And if they’re that tight, why take Korpisalo who has an albatross contract?

  4. CD23tol

There’s currently no extension in place

Please be a one and done in Ottawa Ullmark, please

Would not have traded a 1st for a 30 year old goaltender at this stage anyway.

  6. Wakattack00

So is that Boston’s own pick then?

  7. jfstompers

First NJ now Ottawa, things are just getting harder.

He is highly overrated. We will light him up.

Ehhh, this is simultaneously a much worse return than expected for Boston and also more than I would have wanted the Wings to spend. I’m deeply ambivalent about how the Wings should approach the net this summer, it turns out…

And of course he gets traded to a team in my division. Damm it!

Okay now I’m worried for red wings, holding Alex Lyon hand and pray

Boston probably didn’t want our protected 25’ first round pick, is what it is probably not the worst outcome in the long run

I’m curious how he holds up in the sens room tbh. Playing in Ottawa isn’t playing in Boston

  14. Suitable-Giraffe9075

He’s not going to be nearly as good behind the Sens roster

I’m not sure why Boston would want Korpisalo back here, no matter the dollars. Also Ottawa retaining on Korpisalo is gonna hurt. That’s another million each year on goalies that aren’t on the roster, for a team that doesn’t have space

Until we have a solution at 2c, a goaltender or any other position doesn’t matter.

This team folds without Dylan Larkin on the ice.

I know Boston had to trade him, and they had no leverage because everyone knew they had to do it. But even as a redwings fan I’m shocked how poor a return that trade is. A late first, very mediocre player/prospect and not great goalie contract

  18. TheBrothersClegane

Well that was a fast rumor mill cycle…

Our goalie issues aren’t personnel…… it’s the strategy and players on D. We get too passive, have issues clearing the zone and allow too many shots across the season. Lyon is our guy,Husso is a variable and we have prospects in the system. Build up te team in front and the goalie siruation gets easier.

Trading high value for a goalie in his 30s with a 5M cap hit? Part of the reason he’s that good is that the Bruins are that good. We shouldn’t be looking too hard at him.

As though the division wasn’t enough of a meat grinder.
