  1. Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale. Been a Cats fan since I was a kid. Never, EVER thought this day would come. Just left Elbo Room down by the beach and had some beer poured on me. SURREAL.

    GO CATS GO!!!!

  2. Surprised I didn't hear Brockman talk about Tatum and Tkachuk being classmates in St. Louis both winning championships this year.

  3. Us cats fans are used to losing, sucking, never making the playoffs. I used to say “at least the tickets are cheap, and the people are good”

Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined this day (until last season, of course)

Thought I might be 90 before I saw this.

    God bless the Cats.

  4. As a fan from day one and someone who is covered the team on YouTube for eight seasons and over 2500 videos I can tell you that it is a far superior feeling than what you actually think it's going to feel like. No matter what you will always be Stanley Cup champions.

  5. There are two Stanley Cups – one in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto and the other in South Florida. Congrats Florida!

  6. Decades of very lean years between that 96 finals appearance and this championship, they needed this!!

  7. I feel overjoyed the Oilers lost! Also very happy for Bob — eliminating the idiot Laviolette with the Rangers, who didn't believe in him in Philly, then hoisting the Cup in a victorious Game 7.

  8. Tampa resident and Lightning fan. Never thought I'd root for Florida. Never. But, when it got to the finals, I'd rather see a team who's never got a cup. So, now that they do. I'll never root for Florida again. Unless they face Boston. I may have Florida, but compared to Boston. Saints.

And crazy that Tampa and Panthers have been in the finals 5 years in a row now. I think it's 5. The 2 Tampa cup wins then losing the 3rd. And now Florida loosing and now winning.

  9. I'm happy to see this. I remember the Colorado Rockies and Florida Panthers coming into their respective leagues in 1993 and as a Detroit native and fan of all of Detroit sports found myself rooting for both teams. Good on ya boys! 🤟

  10. Wanted the Oil…But…Love Paul Maurice, followed his path for many a year so It's nice to see him get a cup! Also, The Cat's certainly deserved it…Awesome team! Nice job boys!
