I don’t know Matvei, but I feel sadness for him that his father won’t get to witness his NHL debut. I hope we treat him well in the states.

Is there still the stipulation that he can only ever play at the NHL level within the Flyers organization? I heard that talked about earlier in the process and was curious what that would look like contractually. I don’t know that it would come up save for a rehab stint of some sort, but it would be interesting to know any limitations on the club.
