Your hopes and optimism are misguided.
Having watched every game he played this last year, any amount of ice time is too much.
Hid potential is 100% on paper.
Absolutely zero heart or drive.
On the bright side, no matter what happens this will NOT be the "worst trade in Caps history" as many knee jerseys reactions wanna make it out to be.
Anyone know off hand what they got for Fil Forsberg?
Caps need center depth, no doubt… they also needed to clear a roster spot for Hunter Shepherd, who just won his second Calder Cup with the Hershey Bears.
So maybe. It's certainly not as bad as most think… but it's certainly not a guarantee of being good for either team.
