+thehockeyguy Dineen captained Hartford night the 96-97 season and the canes on the 97-98 season a year later in 98-99 Keith primeau was captain, verbeek also served as captain from 92-93 to 94-95. 91-92 randy ladoucer was captain, & 95-96 shanahan was the captain.
I still believe Ottawa would of won the cup in 06, if Hasek didn't get injured in the olympics. With Chara, Redden, Phillips and Volchenkov on defense plus the Alfie, Spezza, Heatley line on offense, would of been too much for anyone to handle in my opinion.

This team has put me through Hell ! being a fan so long but it has given me the best memories. Ronny is the best hockey player ever. Paul Coffey was a cane and also Mike commodore for you podcast fans. Hurricanes needed to change owners and management for a long time and I hope this change up takes us far.
can we also put Jack Johnson, Frederik Andersen and James Wisnewski as “He Was A Cane?” total of 47 seconds of ice time amongst them!
