  1. 0:51 you can still here the music from the arena, imagine how bad that would hurt for the oilers players in the locker room knowing everyone is partying in the arena

  2. Caps fan here. Ovy won it when he was 32 years old. I believe that McDavid will win too. Hopefully with Oilers. Even if he didn't win it wouldn't change my view of him. Best player in the game by far. Oilers has had more deep runs than Caps did and you showed heart and grit. You still have a good chance to win one.

  3. You suck! Hope hes not an oiler after this season. We could use his 13.5 mil cap space to fill in better players than this kid. Retire McCry baby

  4. Thanks Connor, for giving us Canadian's hope that Canada will get to celebrate the Oilers winning next year. I think that Connor will be on a mission next year to hoist Lord Stanley and break Gretzky's playoffs points record. It's heartbreaking. Heart broken just like when Montreal lost in 2021. Coming from a Sens and Habs fan, I am rooting for the Oilers to win it all in 2025. McDavid deserved the MVP and he will be getting another playoff MVP next year when he wins it all. Keep your head up Oilers fans because the best is yet to come 💯💙

  5. Bad move having Leon & Connor on the same line, too easy to matchup for panthers defensively, put eggs all in one basket on one line was a risk that didn't pay off, they should of had Leon with RNH

  6. Connor, greetings from Russia! I watched all the games of this season live. There are many people in Russia who support Edmonton and admire your game personally. I have to stay up until 6 a.m. to watch the games live.(sorry, I'm writing through a translator) Connor, I want to support you. You are the best hockey player in the history of hockey. I know it's hard and bitter right now, to be one step away from the cup, so heroically to return the series to the seventh game and lose. But this is life, it happens, it will make you stronger. You are a successful, happy young man and already a great hockey player – this is not a small thing. You are making hockey better, you have shown the whole world that hockey can be an art. Your hockey mindset, your performance, your desire to get better at every moment is a rare gift and a joy for the whole planet) Believe me, you bring joy to many people. For me personally, the Stanley Cup is not the award by which I judge a player. It's more of a team award, it doesn't define a hockey player. There are a lot of guys with two cups that nobody knows, and they're mediocre players. But I know that the cup is important to you. You are still young, there will definitely be opportunities. Connor, I want to say that you need to start playing for yourself next season. Don't do any more Hyman stuff))) All his goals are only your merit. I saw it and everyone saw it… You are the king of hockey. You need to score again like in the 22-23 season. You need to score a lot, that's for you. This is your way to the cup. And enter the playoff after the regulation in which you will practice your goalscoring skills for 82 games, rather than playing a pass to much less technically equipped players. There is hockey and you are in it. You are unique precisely for your offensive thinking, your scoring instinct, technique, and insidious throwing. Score as many as possible and you will get the team out. You can score a lot of goals like no one else. I'm sure you're the only one who could beat Gretzky's record for goals in a season. This will give you real confidence and danger. You lost her in this regular game playing Hyman, and I understand why. You wanted to create a team, a link, teach them. But you will do much more if you just score and score and score. Your potential is incredible, it should be expressed in league scoring records. You can perform miracles in hockey. You have to do it because you are the only one who can. This is your way) Connor, despite the fact that there were Russian players in the Florida squad, I was rooting for you, like many in Russia. As for me, Florida played terribly uninteresting hockey, faded and nondescript, very dirty at the beginning of the series. They relied on power struggle and dirt. You've dealt with it. I was almost unlucky in the final, but it will give me experience. Florida was there for the second year in a row, it's difficult to beat such a team with such motivation..But you had a great season, you overcame a lot of problems. You got a great coach. You played brilliantly as always. Your ability to see your partners and make passes is the highest possible level. All you need to know is that you are the king of this game. We need to rest and come back even stronger. We will look forward to the new season and your incredibly beautiful, smart, elegant hockey. Russia loves you.

  7. To salty to even accept his award.
Player of his stature should be striving to show good sportsmanship. Not cry in the dressing room an snuff the ceremony. If he wasn't going to accept it he could have done an elite leader move and selected another player that may never otherwise be selected and let his msg fizzle into place.

  8. The Oilers turned it around and made it to game 7 of the SCF. Amazing work boys, and everyone in the organization!

  9. He missed the greatest opportunity of his career to cement his Legacy amongst the best !! When it matter the most, a big BUST in the biggest game, Great players find a way , he didn't, all goes for nothing, we never remember the loser of the SC finals !!

  10. Let's just hope that people don't leave, want to get traded and the free agent's re-sign with Oilers because if that happens they will be rebuilding the team for the next couple of years

  11. It was all planned a set up. They won in the last 3 games. And the very last one before the final, they scored 5-3. So what gives, to only score 1 goal in 3 periods. That’s my point of view

  12. Was rooting for the Cats but man toward the end I was rooting for McJesus and felt so bad for the loss.

  13. From Kingston Ontario my team has always been the oilers I was Heart broken last night But I know oilers dynasty will return with you Connor
    Go oilers Go
See you next season when you come to Ontario
Wife was born in Edmonton 1977 funny I married Alberta girl and love the oilers family in grimshaw she said if the oilers won the cup we would fly out see home opener regular season told her still going raise banner
    western conference’s winners
So might see you Connor sooner then later hell of season keep your head high next year
    Lord stanly is yours

  14. The curse of 1988 will always rule. The MVP, Most Valuable Pylon trophy is the closest you will ever come. And next time, go out and accept it when they call your name, you big baby.
    Reap what you sow, Edmonton.

  15. You guys on the Oilers are what legends are made of. You lost by only 1 point. You rallied for 3 straight wins after some people counted you out for the speed bumps in the first 3 games. This was not your year and I cannot imagine the disappointment of you and the Edmonton fans. But it will get better. Use the pain, frustration and anger to kick the collective butts of ALL NHL teams in 24-25. You have the mojo to win next year. Stay strong and resilient. You will overcome!

  16. These post game interviews and questions are so unnecessary. Honestly. How do you think a player feels after a loss?

  17. They just weren't good enough as the Florida Panthers, by the wine, all sportsmanship and all that stuff Florida Panthers were a little bit better, nothing but love for both teams

  18. Survivor series 1987 team hogan vs team Andre the goat all over again…

  19. Lighting fan but the oilers did such a great job. That was a huge come back down 3-0

  20. I honestly wish they would wait until the next day to interview the coaches and players. There is no need to be in their faces immediately after the game ends.

  21. Oh you poor baby. I feel for you. Probably about as badly as you felt for Barkov after Draisaitl cheap shotted him to the jaw. Left the ground with both feet and threw an elbow straight to his head. Should have been suspended but the league kissed Edmonton's rear end. Changed the series for a while because you know Barkov was concussed. Luckily it didn't decide the series.
