Well, for Utah he probably would be a Top Pair defenseman for the duration of his current contract. I imagine their Top 2 is Durzi and, in this case Trouba if it happens. They’ve got the Cap Space, although I’m not particularly sure what we’d want in return considering they have almost no tradeable players who would fit on the team. Everyone they have is either a core piece or a high end prospect.
Would be decent for both sides. I think Utah should be competitive to draw in more fans. Definitely not the guy who will get you over the hump but might help them get to the playoffs. By the time that terrible contract is over Utah should be a solid playoff team. They also need to spend like what $20 million? to even hit the cap minimum.
In what world is Trouba a top pair defenseman?
