  1. Crazy entertaining series for this Blues fan. I've got a new respect for the Jets. Wasn't concerned drawing Winnipeg in the first round with how they were playing to close the season, but even when the Blues took the first two games you could tell that they did NOT have a comfortable edge in talent or energy. Jets skated like demons when they were rolling, but glad we've got a Blues team this year that cannot quit. Laine, Scheifele, Buf, and Wheeler are high quality…even if I want them to get punched from time to time (looking at you, Scheifele). LGB!

  2. Them dang refs let Schwartz have his way with the jets tonight! Right eh? From a sw Missouri hillbilly. Let’s go blues

  3. haha That woman at 0:40 is pretty much famous now. Showed up on the Fox Sports MW feed too, and screenshots of her and the girl next to her are all over the internet. XD

  4. Overall, the Jets played terribly in the series. The window to win the cup has just closed for us. Keep Paul Maurice, we will need him during the reconstruction and rebuilding phase in next several seasons. Congrats Blues !!!

  5. I wanted Winnipeg Jets to win this series. But congrats Blues! Who will they face in Round 2? Nashville or Dallas?

  6. – I picked the Blues over the Jets in 6 games….and even as my prediction came to fruition as it turned out, it still was bit of an odd series in which the visiting team won the 1st 5 games. But the series turned in the Blues' favour for good with that dramatic come-from-behind win in Game 5 with Schwartz scoring with just 15 seconds remaining in 3rd to win it, and then netting the hatty in Game 6 as the Blues eliminated the Jets. Nice work St. Louis! As for the Jets…well…still a solid team on paper, but sounds as if changes may be in store inspite of their success the last couple of seasons. Winnipeg still looks like a contender going forward, but chances are they may see at least a couple players on the move in the offseason perhaps.

  7. The Jets best opportunity to win the cup was last season and the year before that and both times they came up short. Now they have to worry about paying Laine and they lost Trouba.
But more importantly, the Blues would go onto to win this series the eliminate the Stats in 7, beat the Sharks in 6, and final defeated the Bruins in 7 games to win the Cup. GO BLUES

  8. I was at game 7 for STL vs DAL, but it was Schwartz' goal in game 5 that really let it set in that we had a at the title!

  9. Looking back….cause 😥 damn pandemic. I know its a minor price comparitavely but im sad it dont feel like april is coming. Playoff hockey is what makes it feel like spring been watching since i was 5. Playoffs always meant bedtimes werent a thing anymore. It meant for at least 3-4 hours every night the rest of life didnt matter. Life was on pause as you strapped in for the ride. It meant breakfast was sportscenter (or later nhl.com pulled up on game system) and breakfast was suddenly a sermon, watching the game recaps. Weekend cartoons were replaced with watching the recording/pvr of the games you couldnt watch the night before instead of sportscenter, no scoreboard checks.

This was my family's church. Im not scared to admit it. We didnt pray. They arent gods. But this is that level of ingrained in my mind, soul, and tradition.

So i cant lie and say i dont miss it.

And what i notice about this series. Jaden Schwarz had a special game 5-6. He put his team on his back. Its like he realized "we won 3 in winnepeg so far. But winning all 4? Thats pushing to far. The hockey gods wont accept such hubris. We NEED to end this at home in game 6." So he put money where his mind was and put his team on his back. And seeing him come alive like that after some of his struggles last year?? You cant call yourself a hockey fan if you dont at least appreciate that moment. Even if you arent a Blues fan, its just one of those moments. One of those performance moments that should transcend team alliegance. Schwarz came alive and he did it with fire, fury, skill, and hunger and at the perfect time. A master stroke performance

  10. Game 1: STL 2 WPG 1
    Game 2: STL 4 WPG 3
    Game 3: WPG 6 STL 3
    Game 4: WPG 2 STL 1 (OT)
    Game 5: STL 3 WPG 2
    Game 6: WPG 2 STL 3
