even though you gotta love the pens they got their asses outplayed like none other…
too bad the Flames got booted out by the sharks…San Jose shouldn't have a team…they NEVER have any NATURAL ice in Cali…unless the ice fairy blesses them with ice during the NHL season? =P But yeah…sucks that the Pens lost. And callofduty, I think the '04 Flames vs Tampa series was pretty good…came down to Game 7…although it shouldn't of…Flames should've won game 6, but let's not go there.

yeah the wings were the better team, but the pens will be a better because of the experience and we never gave up. Game 5 was one for the ages! a pens classic! The last exciting final was 2yrs ago with canes/oilers… i would have said last year if the sens would have shown up.

This series was amazing for not only die-hard NHL fans like myself, but for the general public too. The NHL needed this kind of a final. Hopefully this means that the NHL will get off Versus and back onto ESPN.

im a pens fan, but i will say detroit deserved to win the cup this year. they were the better team the whole series, even when they lost but the pens have a championship coming on the horizon. LETS GO PENS!!!
wings were too strong…but pens have nothign to worry about..they'll win more cups in the near future for sure…experience won this series….good job wings!

I'm glad the red wings won, the Pngs kicked out the NY Rangers… The Red Wings were a lot more skilled than the pengs… But the Pengs were a lot younger and had more energy it seems…
yea pittsburg is a strong team this year, but i dont think they have enough money to support all these young players. sidney, malkin, fleury, hossa, gonchar… if they won the stanley cup they could have secured hossa on their team but i think pittsburg will lose him to montreal

penguins were just outplayed, and very nice video i enjoyed it nicely put together =)

or a pulled goalie, even in triple OT they scored on the PP. The refs did all they could to keep Pitt. alive but the Wings were the better

Congrats to the Red Wings on winning the Stanley Cup in 2008; best team in hockey this year when it was all said & done. Hats off to the Penguins on a solid playoff run, in the end, the Wings were far more superior but the Pens battled right to the very end.
I've watched hockey since 1991 & IMO this was one of the better Finals for hockey; one of my Top 5 Fav Cup Finals ever. Some very entertaining hockey in this year's Cup Final indeed:-)
